That's a silly thing to be traumatized over.

Well first of all, this appears to be a comic book, not a cartoon. But regardless, I'm failing to see why this would lead to trauma. Is the OP being forced to read it or something?

My daughter and I will enjoy this. Can you imagine if I came here saying Star Trek x Transformers or GI Joe x TFs was going to traumatize me?

Plus, this is like so last week.... maybe 2 or 3.

I know I didn't ask for it, but now that its a thing, I am definitely curious to see how it plays out. If I don't like the first issue, I can opt not to get anymore and ignore it. :)

I don't see how this is a traumatic thing. It's a pair of popular Hasbro franchises and while it's a first for a story crossover, it's not the first time they've had a conceptual crossover (I know I've seen artwork from variant comic covers or convention-purchase lithographs and whatnot that showed the likes of Optimus, Megatron, Starscream, and Soundwave paired with MLP characters).

It'll work for the niche audience of fans that like both properties or it'll maybe take fans of one property and pique their interest in the other a little bit. Nothing wrong with that.

And since it's a stand-alone thing, anyone who doesn't like it doesn't have to read it and it won't impact their ability to enjoy the other products in both lines. So it seems like a pretty harmless attempt to build some buzz and sell some comics. I say if they've got the stones to give it a try, why not go for it?

The fact that you claim this gives you "trauma" says more about your own maturity than that of the crossover (which I'm sure is what you're referring to).

Yes, it is traumatic that the more upbeat MLP fanbase has to be force to interact with the cynicism-scarred hellscape that is the Transformers fanbase. I'm sure that's what you meant, right OP?

They aren't the ones making idiotic threads on their forum lambasting the other fanbase for existing, mate.
