I like the weathering level on the face but it’s a bit overdone on the tail. Otherwise I really prefer this paint scheme to the metallic and chrome (based on pictures as I’ve owned none of them).

 

Looks like no solid red head. Hopefully they include it along with the flame effects. @foxracing Are you getting this set since you're the Dinobot Historian here in the forums? Lol

 

Just a newb here alright?   Unlikely as I just want the new head sculpt... in toon red with blue visor.

 

Cut corners may be over harsh, I'd wager they have just gotten better sculpting with experience. Pretty sure Fanstoys facesculpts used to be alot poorer when they started.

This new facesculpt is brilliant though definitely interested in an upgrade pack for my Chrome.

 

Well, the first head was far more expensive for them: light up feature, interchangeable faces and shades... They probably thought that a new head could be cheaper AND prettier, and they were right.
A good sculpt is better than all the bells and whistles

Looks nice but I think I’ll stick with my Metallic and Chrome version, sure the head is nice but I’m not buying another set.

 

on the facebook post, gigapower said "We hope to continue with reissues when there is enough demand from retailers" what i want to know is, how does that work. pre-orders? or is it just people badgering their favorite stores to get more stuff in? or something else? because i need a chrome grassor and i'll take any upgrade kit that includes chrome or silver thigh replacements

Total pass. For some reason, the Dinobots do not look good when painted with battle damaged deco.

He is available for preorder at tfs-express as well. Shipment for me is about $190. Not bad. I want the new head. I did get a message from them saying they are alive, but just very slow. Might have had some issues. I just hope Showz can get me my replacement feet.

Guess this is a good time to pick up this line. I got the Fans Toys but they sit in Dino Mode. The Gigas look nice in bot mode.
