Not for those of us with a Move toy collection going back to the 2007 releases, the Last Knight ones can just about pass as being a compatible size but Jazz is essentially a £20 scout toy - so though I like scale to some degree i'd rather the deluxe size of 5.5 - to 6" was standard and anything else was made bigger.

Besides with our friends in china upscaling so much the size of something shouldn't really be revolving around making something smaller to make The titchy leaders look less titchy. The real reason isn't scale it's the license fees they have to pay for the cars or to Paramount and that is why they toys have been hit with a shrink ray - I thought siege toys were small until I stood Sideswipe next to Studio Series Sideswipe and actuall burst out laughing..

B&M's £10 is a much fairer price for the titchy bots at least, I actually bought SS Jazz, SS Bumblebee and other months ago and was so disgusted with the size I put them in a box and forgot about them. Where as something that isn't such an embarassment of a size like Cog I'm much more likely to play with. SS Sideswipe isn't a horrible toy - but to be honest if he got an Aoyi Model upscale I'd just shove the original in a storage box and use that instead like I plan to do with Dropkick when he 'eventually' shows up. The only real boon I can see to the tiny size is for display with something like Devastator - but there is issues with the scale in that it leaves them very little places to go - such as with Mudflap and Skids they'd be smaller than Legends size and have a wholely inappropriate car mode size to be in robot mode scale - so they'd have to make them Jazz size and then they'd be to big next to bumblebee. (who himself is way to small) so is Barricade. The main problem here is it makes Studio Series it's own thing rather than part of the overall Movie lines. I essentially have to use each toy as stand alone toy as despite the intention for scale it is to the way I use my toys 'all wrong'. But with the option to get them cheap now I'm not so disapointed in some of them being tiny as I otherwise previously was. But I do wonder if they are finding things from warehouses now - might they find some more sizes of Siege toys or even some Titans Return toys too ?

Be aware the 10% off code doesn't work for action figures.

Actually I did have a collection of the original movie line. The reason I collect the SS is out of nostalgia for those figures. But to me scale is the most important thing with accuracy of these figures. The point of the line is accuracy in the detail and scale. The twins wouldn’t be legends size, the races sisters are legends sized and the twins are bigger than them.
The Studio Series is supposed to be its own line, it’s not supposed to really go with the proviso is movie lines, it’s new iterations of all the characters

Hucknall B&M have Studio Series and looks to be a full case.

There was Sideswipe, Camero Bumblebee, WWII Bumblebee & Crankcase. Can't remember the rest as I'm only in for VW Bumblebee.

Im here with you man. I have trimed down my old Movie collection with just keeping a select few and I am fully in on Studio Series. The scale and on-screen accuracy in the line is second to none

First B&M in Leicester has nothing, second at a retail park just outside had a full case. Bought a spare Sideswipe for someone, who had found one themselves. So I've got a Sideswipe for sale at cost + postage if anyone wants.

One of my local B&Ms has a mixture of SS stuff.
I picked up a Barricade and will go back for a Sideswipe. They also had clunker Bee, a WWII Bee and a crankcase.

Plus loads and loads of wave 1 battlemasters but I already have those so I left them.

Start checking your smyths toys for Earthrise today.

They have lifted their 01 March embargo on a number of other toys including the Lego UCS 89' Batmobile @£219. These have been in stores for a few days ready to sell but held back. Store stock doesn't show yet though but they are definitely there (im only picking the batmobile as a specific example as its a big ticket item).

Home delivery always goes live a few days early to allow delivey / collection by the target street date.

Also to clarify the retail street dates aren't always set by the distributor or brand, often the retailers themselves where it coincides with clearing old stock/lines and wider new season / catalogue launches etc. They also have to allow for distribution to units too so will have recieved cases from much earlier in the month. It's not like b&m / tk maxx where any random tf case goes to any store as per recent studio series / potp.

Anyone else concerned about that Gen Selects pack not going up for order anywhere? I hope it doesn't end up like all those others figures that weren't brought over...
Also the snake plank isn't up anywhere either.

I'm in the opposite, I keep seeing the Clunker Bee wave but want to find the other with KSI Sentry, etc.

Also, can anyone recommend where to find Cromar and Zetar in the UK?

Reading's B&M (the one at Brunel Retail Park) has The Studio Series. Only 1 Barricade, 1 Sideswipe and Crankcase left after i picked up a Barricade. Also picked up another Siege lionizer. Mainly for the effect piece to give to Siege Springer.

No Studio Series at the other B&M.

Newmarket in Suffolk B&M had the Sideswipe, Barricade selection, no Crankcase or Clunker Bee left though, I am starting to think this selection is more in the south and the Bumblebee VW/Ratchet/Jazz selection not so much.

No sign of the battlemasters or Scouts though yet.

just to follow on from this, I was in Smyths earlier and heard one staff member say to another something like ‘have you seen that Lego batmobile in the back’ so if stuff isn’t on the shelves today then keep checking over the next few days. My local Smyths isn’t always the best at getting stuff on shelves quickly.

It’s so fucking annoying to see the amount of SS from B&M already being flipped for 3 times the price on ebay
