not really. There’s plenty of people that wanted Cybertronian modes or just want fun toys which siege was. Not everyone is a line completist and gets mad when they do characters again.

 

Not thrilled about Sunstreaker's "gun". I'm sure it can be plugged into his back to make him look more like he's supposed to, but like Wheeljack it appears he then doesn't have any other weapons.
I suppose the idea is to use a battlemaster or something to arm him.

This leaves Huffer as the only member of the 84 crew who doesn't have a G1-accurate update.

I will have that Trailbreaker, he was one of my first Transformers and it's about bleeding time we got a GOOD Trailbreaker figure!

 

I'm gonna give him one of Astrotrain's guns, like I did with Sideswipe.

 

So when will they be released?

 

As much as I like the look of both them I don\'t understand why Hasbro keep some hollow areas on the bots they look sort of incomplete.

 

Not identical ones. His car mode just looks like Siege Sideswipe with something stuck on the top.

 

This is what I wanted basically on many previous TF lines for years,...... but now I already have the MP's or 3rd Party versions so these don't hold my interest anymore.

But this is basically what I wished Armada was back in the day. (Though I didn't imagine the huge gaps)

May be, but his robot mode is 100% better at looking like Sunstreaker than the old Classics one was. Feels like a weird thing to look at a toy that outshines the previous attempt in everyway and pick on the one detail that differs, and frankly considering how unique the robot mode is, was likely done on purpose for the sake of flavoring.

 

Release date is in...October?

 

The more and more I look at Sunstreaker, the more he grows on me. I'm really impressed that they put so much molding effort into him. Wow.

Not a big fan of the engine issue, but, it is what it is.

Trailbreaker is a must.

 

It's barely hollow just the middle of his leg. Whatever the cost analysis came up with, I think it's clear the right choices were made.

 

Well we've seen Earthican modes of several characters already. Don't be surprised if they come out with a reshelled Sideswipe or a Hound with new cab and windshield pieces.

 

Would have liked him to have a wrist missile launcher option like the original figure.

 

I notice Sunstreaker's supercharger/gun is straight across in the pic on the car, but slightly angled when held as a gun. It looks like part of the "gun" can actually swivel, at least slightly.

 

Hopefully the supercharger can be left on his back in robot mode.
I guess the 3rd party parts makers will have something to make for Sunstreaker - like some weapons and a tail fin.

Both of them look better than Wheeljack or Netflix Mirage at least.
