God I wish they swapped the wave load outs and put shockwave’s release in the summer instead

 

It doesn't really bother me since it adds to the hodgepodge nature of the design. If you think about it, unless they used the same vehicle for both arms/hands, they likely would be out of proportion.

 

Devastator looks amazing. So glad they are releasing Skipjack, and furthermore, not as an exclusive. My only hope now is that we get a Demolisher recolor of Scavenger. I've heard rumors that we'll be given a yellow recolor of Longhaul, even saw a "leaked" image. To be fair, that could have been several different things, beyond an actual leak. Regardless, I'm impressed and happy with Devastator. As always, I wish he was just a bit bigger, but I've come to terms with it, and can't wait to have it on my shelf.

That would make sense. I didn’t realize that, though.

 

Personally, I will be using the 2009 recolor versions to represent the miscellaneous Constructicons. That way, each character can have a unique mold.

actually the tabs that plug the front of mixmaster into place in combine mode arent used for vehicle mode there is a slot of each side of devastator's lower jaw and a tab on each side of the hood at the front that slides into that slot

 

I'm gonna have to reluctantly pass on the recolors. I have no room nor the budget. One more for anyone else who wants one.  

 

I think I actually prefer Rampage over Skipjack. Too much yellow for me.

 

Super excited for this and thinking of doing a remake of a stop motion I did 10 years ago using the new figures. Really brings back memories of the ROTF days

 

Please do! I remember watching that video hundreds of times back when I stumbled on it as a kid and an updated version now with the Studio Series version would be amazing.

 

I think I'm going to wind up with both, and figure out what I like better afterwards.

Yeah, there'd be a lot of yellow, between both arms and that left foot. But with Rampage, there's that big chunk of unbroken red going down from his shoulders all the way down to the left foot.

Plus with Skipjack, it gives you that alternate mounting place for Scrapmetal's shield on the knee that won't look so out of place.

 

Wow you did that? O remember watching it as a kid and feeling alittle dissatisfied when i saw the retail constructicons could transform into robots and the devastator ones didnt

It feels like the ending of a long journey seeing all 8 Constructicons together at last after more than a year. Makes me wonder what Studio Series's next "big thing" will be.
