I don’t think so. Judging by the pics, the head looks like it is molded in one piece.

Not that he is a remold in any way, but there seem to be a few design elements shared with Studio Series (32/44) Optimus Prime.

 

Sentinal Prime is a must. My DOTM Leader and voyager both got trashed in a flood. I might get Jeeplebee just because it's kind of unique and not a Camaro! lol

 

Interesting. This color scheme kinda makes me think of a Decepticon overlord Sentinel Prime.

 

They’re gonna wait a year and re-release this guy with the removed helmet and shield. Maybe the acid cannon. I’m calling it now.

I said design, not produce. Now is the time to start studying photos which have been widely circulated and see whats the best way to let his nuts hang. On the Sentinel sheild I suppose its best to wait and design the actual figure comes out to explore storage options. We already know where Devys balls will be stored. On Hightowers crane replacing that easily removable claw thing that isnt even accurate to a crane in real life.

 

i want to hate bumblebee for the fake chest n crappy under-kibble in alt mode, but he looks really fun in spite of both of those. don't think i'd like him for full price but if i could get him for $10 i would

I think Sentinel Prime looks like a shellformer. I have a feeling that the vehicle mode side panels fold along the long side to form the split cape.

 

Not that bad, thankfully. The windscreen and the very front of the cab end up on his butt. You can see the front bumper behind his thighs in the straight on "hands on hips" pic on the first page.

Everything else forward of the 316 winds up in his chest, save for the parts at the bottom of each side which become the halves of the sword. If you can see the panel lines, the panel immediately in front of the 316 is half of his chest plate.

Assuming they can fit most of the back end of the truck into the legs somehow, and his cape should only be made from the roof, a la the old leader.

 

It doesn’t look like it, the helmet sits very close to the head on the figure  

 

Holy shit, Sentinel is literally 100% black plastic.

 

Not surprising when you factor in how he threw the Autobots under the bus and made Megatron his b*tch.

Also, I took a look at the Voyager Sentinel from the DOTM toyline and while they DO look similar, SS Sentinel has wheels in different parts of his legs and black hands.

So yup, not the same.

 

I’d like Bumblebee to be repainted as G1 Hound with a new G1 Hound head released in Selects actually as G1 Hound.

 

Wow, once you see it... That butt kibble is rather horrendous.

 

This might be the best Senintal Prime toy I ever seen yet. Cannot wait to add him to my collection ^^

 

I really dont like that Sentinel figure. Too much black and literally no other accessory. He needs his sheild or gun and some of that black paint really needs to be gray or silvered up. As for Bee he's pretty freakin neat tbh. Since I have the 07 Bee I dont plan on taking this one outta the box.
