What uncanny magic did you use to create this beautiful piece of plastic goodness. Great work with an equally great use of parts.
So the hands no longer fold in for alt mode, because I placed a styrene plate over the hole, so when he was in bot mode there wasn't a visible hole on the outer forarm, since the arms swivel at the biceps. Lots of parts added where the legs and the torso meet to close gaps. Unfortunately, I have no WIP pics to show where all the little stop gap measures were enacted to get the final product. There is a digibash on another thread (the posters name escapes me at the moment) where a straight up Hotrod is used, and the spoiler is reshaped to look like Turbo's. If I were to do another custom, I would probably do that,as I stated in an earlier post that the alt mode does not gel like I had hoped. Thank you all for the kind words
That’s actually pretty freakin good. The stockier proportions lend well, and the parts exchange is seamless.
Thank you gentlemen. I always took Turbo as Leader-1's body guard, strong right hand. Kinda like Ironhide was to Optimus
Awesome job on this! I was hoping for Action Toys to finally get their Turbo out, but the longer it goes the more likely it seems that I'll have to make my own. This is brilliant, I'm going to have to keep it in mind.
Thanks a lot, I've always admired your paints man. You're an inspiration I was excited about this line, until I realized how small they were.
After a careful look at POTP Jazz and TR Hotrod, I now realize your "HEAVY" prefix... that does require a lot of work, which makes me admire your custom even more. I'll just keep making a more Hotrod-ish version LOL And maybe use POTP Jazz for a new Crasher.
