ANOTHER high-end statue license??

 

Lol, this company? Why would I want a $2,000 bust of a TF when the others have full body pose-able figures for well under $1000. Give the license to a lower end company for once.

 

More expensive Transformers that don't transform. Yay? Well, happy for those who want these...

 

Nice but I don't have 3K to spend on a single statue/bust.

Wish Toys Alliance still had the license so they could continue on with their MAS line $200 action figures/statues were nice.

 

I know this may be off-topic, but looking back at those movie logos, it perplexes me how they couldn't even keep their font consistent from one to next post-DOTM.

 

I'm wondering, exactly how many high end statue licensees do we need duplicating the same few characters? At some point the redundant redundancy gets so redundant it's hard to see through the redudants. I'm sure each one will be epic and awesome, and they are, but really?

 

I still want their Alita, but it's so big I don't know where I would put it.

 

TBH these super real and huge busts are scary. I dunno if I’d want one in my home. But they do look super real! The thanks one looks awesome.

I think a font change was a good idea with a supposed new trilogy. The problem was they didn’t keep it for TLK and also they font is effing terrible. I like the aoe one.

 

Hasbro doesn’t give their licenses to anyone, they sell them. It’s also up to individual companies to approach Hasbro about licensing the property. If a lower end company is willing to pay the license fee, Hasbro would be willing to sell. We’ve seen this with Hard Hero, Palisades, and others in the past.

It’ll keep going until the market decides otherwise. As long as companies think they can make money from these, they’ll continue, as will new companies trying to get a piece of the market.

 

I'm confused about the pricing for these. Their Iron Man bust is only $300 while their Loki is $3K. Like I understand one has to imitate human skin but that's a huge price gap. If the Transformers bust are around $300, that's honestly super reasonable. I'd love to have a giant BB Prime bust.

 

Really excited to see what they come up with.

I'll look to buy any of the G1 animated statues.

No busts or live action stuff for me though.
