i wonder how quickly this sub line will be updated? i cant imagine the next season coming out a year after so if i had to guess i think wave 2 will be shown either before or at sdcc with earthrise figures being shown at nycc

We already got that. So unless they’re doing yet another deco, I doubt it. I’d much rather have CD Scattorshot from Impactor, but I don’t see it happening in this line.... that’s more a Selects thing.

 

One not in a boxset with two other figures I don't want.

Well the whole conversation was started by someone asking for that in the next Netflix wave, so...

 

Wild (and unlikely) Speculation time:

What if wave 2 of the Netflix subline are ER molds? There could be 5 deluxes like Battle Damaged Cliffjumper, Wheeljack and Hoist, a faction switcher maybe Autobot Airwave, and a new generic like for example the Devastation genericon from Runamuck.

Voyagers could be once again a seeker from the ER mold, and yet another Voyager Megatron  

Leader spoiler pack could be a Battle Damaged ER Optimus, maybe with a G2 trailer (ok, maybe when hell freezes over) and a battlemaster.

 

So guys, what did you preorder so far?

I think Hotlink will be hard to find, also Scrapface. The seeker because you know, who don't love a purple Decepticon seeker army?

There is one Scrapface per case and we need at least 3.

Also one Chromia and one Megatron per case but not sure about how hard to find they will be. Even Megatron, since there are a lot of repaints of him.

 

I only preordered Hotlink (who now needs Sunstorm and Bitstream to complete his trio) and Megatron (mostly for the Battle Masters but the more I look, the more I like his deco)

 

A Netflix ER Prime would be amazing, so Season 2 will be ER right? The Netflix line is so wonderfully painted and my space is limited I've been considering waiting for more Netflix editions. There's nothing like these paint apps out there for $20, it's like someone is personally airbrushing them.

 

That was speculation. I still think wave two will be more Siege.

 

So definitely Voyager Optimus, which is fine, I really like that mold.

Energon Green cracked Windows, Eye Scar, keeping the white stripe.

 

Holy crap...I just now realized that Prime isn't in the first wave of figures...

Hasbro...are you feeling ok?!?

 

considering we see impactor with his mainline release head in the trailer, a release of the idw head version of the mold is not likely in this line (personal opinion)

would make a good lead in to season 2

Oh definitely, but my first thought was still "HOLY CRAP!"  

 

I'll put in my speculation for Wave 2 as well. Pretty safe imo.

1. Grand Cog. (I think the fast track repaint rumor pushes me fir this one)
2. Impactor ( I could definitely see a more muted color scheme for this release.)
3. Elita-1 (I think it could be possible. Not sure if she'll be siege Chromia or ER Arcee, but that depends on how kuch layer wave 2 comes out)
4. Optimus (has to. If he doesn't have the green windshields we riot)

The only ones I didn't and don't intend to is Hound, Sideswipe and Chromia. There isn't enough there for them for me to grab them. Scrapface is a new character, decepticon mirage is self explanatory, Hotlink because my Seeker collection demands it and Megatron mostly for the battlemasters, but partly because this deco actually calls out to me unlike the other g1 deco versions.

 

in the same boat for the figures i ordered. i think elita from arcee is possible (even as a cybertronian mode), especially since her alt mode does still look more futuristic than the ones that explicitly have earth modes
