The Mega mini-figures are more like 1:36 scale so they probably won't fit. As they don't have fudged interiors.
I'm dumb... wouldn't a 1:36 scale be smaller than a 1:32 implying that they would fit, albeit while possibly looking too small for the vehicle? Or certain vehicles anyway... Besides if there's one thing Mega builds are already used to it disproportionate figures to vehicles. If the HiSS has an opening windscreen and allowable cockpit, you'd better believe I am cramming a figure in there.
Hahahaha, I'm sorry (not really) I stirred up trouble. The mega figures are 1:36 height, but they're... chunky, so probably will fill up a 1:32 seat just fine. They look perfectly proportional with MP TFs in alt-mode which are nominally 1:32 scale, so I think they're going to look just fine. Like you, I'm going to make every effort to force it! I love my Mega VAMP, but I won't be able to resist cramming tiny Clutch into a 1:32 diecast. I just hope the 1:32 vehicles scale well with each other. That small line that has every vehicle an inch long whether it's a motorcycle or fighter jet... those proportions will bug me. It's fine for a VAMP and HISS, but I won't be able to take the skystriker and silver mirage seriously if they're the same size.
Eh, the Nano Line is just another Micro Machines line. They are what they are. Starscream isn't in scale with Bumblebee let alone Prime in alt mode. But my attitude may come from having no use for collecting them. And you can't sway me otherwise, nacho.
Eh, I will get a few of the nanos just because they're cute, but I won't need to buy them en mass. The 1:32 stuff though... imagine how cool that would look with all your Mega figures. I would be tempted to mock up a whole town for an invasion of springfield dio. I knew those chinese knockoff cityview lego buildings would come in handy!
Yeah, I'm really happy with the Mega figures with my MP TFS, so if these Joe vehicles scale well with the MP TFs, I'll finally have what I've wanted since I was a little kid -- a unified toy line: As far as the nanos, I'll pick and choose with them. Probably get the VAMP, Stinger, MOBAT, and Snowcat to go with my WST TF display and the Silver Mirage for Dianauts but I don't need the aircraft.
The Warthog, and more importantly the Pelican, look AWESOME. Man that Pelican just hits all my buttons, such an iconic vehicle. Any word on price and release date? Also where do MC products typically go up for preorder, Amazon?
A few things of note: Another Evil Lyn A beard. New skin tone. Both with what I believe are removable helmets. ... And whatever this is.
I need to get another Adam I'm going to make that blue shirt Adam that was going to come with the Sky Sled. I didn't know I wanted one until it wasn't going to happen.
Found an untouched case of the newest Halo blind bag Clash on the Ring series at a Target in Texas today. I got the 3 Spartans based on these blind bag codes that I got from the MC Facebook groups: Green Spartan 354940hy common Ce Marine 007041hy common... Grunt 003043hy common Eleite 365942hy common Orange Spartan 003039hy common Silver Spartan 352944hy to uncommon Flood 364945hy uncommon Coveneant crusier 359946hy rare
I don't know that he's been canned so much as repurposed. I suspect he'll get a five pack or heroes release.
I was actually interested in having other toy lines match with the 1/24 M.A.S.K. scale, and so well after the lines discontinued, I went back and picked up human alliance, alternator and binaltech figures, along with picking up MP01, MPP10 & mmp10 variants, and various 2.5” characters from the marvel movies and some modern joytoy 1/27 scale & b2five figures. But... what mega construx has been doing over the last few years, I wouldn’t mind if other 80s properties (m.a.s.k. & G.I. Joe included) jumped in line for the megaconstrux scale. Saw this in a Walmart, and after seeing its product images, realized I want to add these too. (I’m guessing others felt the same, hence the empty box) I was able to find two boxes of mcx for predator line , so picked up one of each & 2 predators. Thanks in part to 5below stocking some mcx figures, I think I have all of the motu line, and would feel more confident in chances to get other 80s lines, if the powers that be actually decide to make them. So, come on mcx, bring on: mask, gi joe, thundercats, silver hawks, a-team, knight rider, airwolf, ghostbusters and others that I’m not thinking of at the moment.
And there are Strati too. And you're not likely to see MASK or GI Joe anytime soon. I have to give Mega credit. My one Xeno had two left legs out of the egg. The second person I talked to via email helped me send images to a correct location and then got my replacement sent out. The first person seemed like an overly cheerful idiot. Instead of just the leg, they sent an entire figure.
