If they couldnt get Cullen they should have used Epicvoiceguy (cant remember his real name) instead at least he does a great impression plus has an element of gravitas in his portrayal.

But that said I am excited for this and just hope a few of the non figure characters get them at some point (Looking at you Elita 1).

I'm really hoping someone was listening when I first proposed The House of Magnus. All "brothers", they all share a similar body architecture and are designed to be wise enforcers of the Autobots and able to carry the Matrix of Leadership. Known members are Delta Magnus, Ultra Magnus, and Orion Pax (who shunned his trailer armor) and later becomes Optimus Prime. (Future members include Ultra Mammoth.)

I may catch some flack for this, but the voicework as seen in the trailer is pretty anemic to me.

2 season's each with 6 20 minute episodes seems EXTREMELY short

Well that doesn't scan very well, the unthinkable choice is not phrased as a choice more a contradictory statement.

I dont get why people need to be like that, if you're not going to watch it. fine, dont comment that, especially on a Transformers forum...

Hey, y'all remember when the last show you convinced yourselves was the Second Coming of G1 for Adults turned out to be a five-minute webtoon? Just, you know, for comparison's sake.

I wish they would do a series like this and have it run beyond 3 seasons

Yeah seems pretty short... I'm cool with 6 episodes if each episode was like 40-50 minutes. They aren't going to be able to tell much story with only 20 minutes.

I wonder why then it wasn't done as a "movie" then. I'm figuring this is a continuous story, why have the breaks instead of just being feature length?

No, the man is almost 80, give him a break. Also he just does not have the touch anymore.

Maybe this is why we have Decepticon Mirage in the figure line, he was the test for the reformatting!

6 episodes is fine by me, in the UK most series last that long and there is plenty of time for story, filler for this might have been good for character building but looking at the high quality of the animation you can tell they're using it to test the waters. No point doing longer seasons if it turns out to be as well recieved as the Prime Trilogy were (reluctant to even call that thing a show)

    6 x 20 minutes?

This suggests to me that Netflix is distributing but likely not funding or not funding it heavily.

Hasbro are likely behind the bean-counting, 6 x 20 minutes would likely be much lighter on the purse strings.

I wish they would stop doing impressions of Peter Cullen and go full original. We haven't had one since Animated.

Too much work to figure out a proper beginning, middle, climax and ending. Much easier to put out short cool looking scenes to pad out with fillers.

Yeah. six episodes is pretty small, probably trying to test the waters and save money. If it does well they will make more, if it does bad they haven''t wasted too much money.

For me it'll depend on what people are saying when it comes out (and how future trailers look). If the storytelling is said to be fantastic (not just "fine", but actually fantastic) I might end up getting Netflix and watching it. But as someone who doesn't have Netflix, this trailer didn't really do anything to make me want to pay to watch this. I'm not boycotting it or anything, just not sold on the trailer. Especially since other recent attempts at adult-oriented shows and "nu-G1" shows havn't been particularly great. But maybe this will finally be the one that does it well. I guess we'll see.
