    Love your YT reviews!!

if you’re looking for a new hobby, I suggest Kendama!! It’s a fun analog wooden toy similar to a yo-yo.. but totally different too..! Practice hand-eye coordination, land different styles of tricks, an easy work-out, draws people to you.. I seriously had soo many people ask what I was playing with(..& seemed interested) at Walmart yesterday while I was hunting with my friend as she grocery shopped!

Sounds fun, but honestly? I might get back into Gunpla (Gundam model kits). It used to be a HUGE passion, so much so that the people at the local hobby shop knew me by name. I never got DEEP into it - clearcoating, weathering, customizing and all that - but I think I might start.

It's a great hobby...and it doesn't have to be terribly expensive either. You can spend weeks putting together and customizing a relatively inexpensive kit to your heart's content...rather than just chasing down retail action figures. I haven't done a Gundam in a few years...kind of miss it...always wanted to do a PG kit...

didnt see anything new to report all weekend anywhere in Lexington. I was looking for excedrin migraine which has a bigger shortage than Earthrise TFers atm. So I hit all the major box stores, a couple krogers and walgreens...

Lexington stores are in the midst of the post Christmas scarcity. It'll be April before they look ok to hunt in again.

Have you tried any of the Real Grades? They're pretty close in terms of complexity. Plus the frame is kinda fun to put together.

I have not tried any RG kits. The last one I built was an MG Heavy Arms a few years ago (from a kit that was released sometime around 2012 or before). From what I understand, the designs have evolved somewhat since that kit was released. I need to find a current one I’d like to build. I don’t care much for the designs that have spikey wing blade things all over them...so that tends to limit my choices. I do need a Zaku, though...never built one of those.

I believe Char's custom red Zaku was released in RG. as was the granddaddy RX-78. The Nu Gundam from Char's Counterattack was also just released. Theres so many now!

I was in the Springhurst Meijer on Sunday and saw they're having the same $10-off-Voyagers-sale that Target is having (though without the additional BOGO50%off kicker). They were down to one lone Siege Starscream, surely they'll restock with something during the week.

I drove all the way from Richmond to do a full round of Louisville. Not a thing. Found one store that had 17 leaders in stock, but they were all Siege.

Reynold's Rd Target had the Cyberverse deluxes. I got an employee to pull the case from the back. They wouldn't ring up at the register though. Said not for sale until June 1st. Lady at the service desk just rang them up as random toys for $20 each. I didn't get the half price on two, but she did give me a $10 gift card to make up for it missing the sale.

I bought one of each and left one of each.

I saw 2 last weekend here in Lexington. Can't guarantee they are still here.
