Which makes me wonder if they will do Diaclone homages, will they come with Battlemasters that homage the Diaclone Pilots?

 

I'm guessing the clones are going to be a remolded Laserbeak done in his Earth mode, along with a Buzzsaw.

 

that wouldnt work, laserbeak is tied to the ravage mold so there wouldnt be a laserbeak/buzzsaw pack and as a micromaster 2 pack it would be $10USD not $25USD

 

The thing though it that these multipacks consist of A Deluxe and a Battlemaster.

Besides, Earth Lazerbeak and Buzzsaw would show up in the main line in some way.

 

You have no idea how excited I am for Thrust and any of the other potential seekers! I want a full collection of 6, and maybe more depending on how long they keep this mold in commision. I'm a sucker for seekers.

Would the maths work if it was a Battlemaster four piece, like the Selects Spy Patrol? If so, @RustedCross might be halfway to being right. I could imagine Buzzsaw, two out of Glit, Howlback, and Stripes, and one out of Garboil and Sundar.

I mean, that’d be pure torture for anyone like me who just wanted Buzzsaw. But torturous exploitation isn’t unprecedented in this game.

All moot points if the maths dun’t work, of course.

 

still $5USD too cheap, the selects 4 pack is deluxe priced so itd still need to make up the cost difference of a battlemaster

 

In regards to the Micromaster Spy Patrol listing, while it's easy to assume that this is referring to the Selects 4-pack with Frenzy (Rumble in my household), Wing Thing, Knok, and Skar; what seems off to me is that it is listed under the standard Earthrise lineup instead of the dedicated Selects listings. This could mean that it was either a Selects listing that was misplaced or it is referring to a brand new set of Spy Patrol Micromasters completely separate from the Selects 4-pack. If the latter is indeed the case then who would these new micromasters be? Going off of how the Selects set has two repaint/remolds of both Siege Rumble and Ratbat, Perhaps this brand new set (If indeed a wide release 2-pack) could comprise of a repaint of the Laserbeak and Ravage molds as both Buzzsaw (The only member of the original Soundwave cassette team missing), and Howlback (The Blue E-Hobby Ravage repaint). Hell they could even get out one final repaint as both Garboil (The accompaning Blue E-Hobby Laserbeak), and Stripes.

So help me out here, or at least save me from going to XE.com (I get enough of that in the day job), is the only way the maths would work if it was a Deluxe and a Battlemaster? If no, what are the other possible combos that’d fit in that $$$?

 

Only other plausible combo would be 4 MMs and a BM (get your mind out of the gutter) or 4-5 BMs (get your mind out of the port-a-john) unless it's just overpriced for funsies.

I always buy three sets of everything, as I want to not only give my sone one but also to hand down a complete g1 cartoon continuity collection to both my sons kids and my daughters kids someday . When possible i like to give each set a little something different but still the same characters, Its fun for me . So id like to have one Siege and one Earthrise Astrotrain to give each grandson. ( my kids are only 11 and 10 right now though )
