IIRC in the Japanese continuity, Fire Convoy’s team was an interdimensional patrol fighting Decepticons where they may be. It’s possible that Hasbro might take inspiration from that. Of course Shattered Glass is also a possibility.

 

If this is the case, I'm rooting for this Prime to combine with Siege Magnus.

I was hoping we’d get a Bumblejumper in Selects so hopefully he’ll be listed by SDCC. The Movie Masterpiece is almost guaranteed to be Ratchet unless HasTak throws us for a loop with Brawl (which I’d love more than Ratchet tbh). And the Seeker pack I think is likely Sunstorm/Bitstorm since I would doubt Dirge/Ramjet would be any sort of exclusive. But we had 2 Voyagers revealed at Toy Fair so going off of a 5 Wave lineup with 4/5 getting 1 new, 1 repack I surmise one of the Coneheads would need to be an exclusive

I want the characters they have rumored as selects.

But when they came up with the idea of a separate "Mercenary faction" in the TCCG, I thought it'd make a great selects theme other than "redcos we don't think will sell at mass market". Mudflap, Lockdown, "not-yet-Drift"... thought it'd be cool.
So I'm somehow disappointed they didn't go with the great idea I had in my head and shared with absolutely no one.

 

I'm surprised their is no Omega Supreme repaint yet. I really could do without the dilemma of wanting to troop build Gaurdian Robots.

the old one still holds up, better than most modern toys even.
if anything from Car Robots needs an update, it's the Spychangers.
always bothered me that craptacular g1 bricks like the combaticons and g2 gobots were being sold in the same toyline/pricepoints as the marvels of engineering like The Autobot bros and Build Team.
Takara remade Baldigus, so now we just need some modern articulated Spychangers.

He did, or atleast gave hints to it, he gave hints about a rid homage that has a base and is a Autobot, only bot that fit the bill would be Optimus

 

A real G2 Megatron gives me hope.

I know Prime gets a lot of Toys each year, but come on.
