If that's the scale, it would work for me, may I ask what metric you are using to approximate their size relative to each other?

Good to see Thrust, Dirge, and Ramjet on Sky-Lynx's box.

We knew they were coming, but seeing them in the artwork is just so goddamn satisfying. :D

Their offical heights; my original measurements, based off of his ramps, had him at half up Predaking's torso. But apon seeing his height relative next to Smokescreen, and seeing his stated height, I'm certain this is accurate.

Good enough for me thank you for your efforts.

Does anyone now have an official G1 cartoon scale chart with Sky Lynx and Predaking on it to see how close to that scale Hasbro managed to get? Using animation stills would be inefficient as sizes can change frame to frame, errors are well documented to be part of the series etc.

Anyone have an offical chart with them on it?

Holy smokes, considering the official reveal for this guy was less than 24 hours ago, it really seems like they're a lot farther along than last year compared to Jetfire and Omega. Any ballpark when we might see this stuff in stores? I can only wait for Scorponok for so long

    Holy Jose !
What if Deathsaurus and Star Saber are the 2021 Coalition (WFC V3) Commander Class figures, but Star Saber follows suit with Sky Lynx, and is two separate figures.

Star Saber is shorter than Deathsaurus, but combines with Victory Leo to become Victory Saber.

so far we have no reason to believe that there will be more than 1 commander per year, while that scenario would be nice, i cant see them making the faction leaders into $80 releases that most stores wont stock on the shelves

According to Amazon, between September and November is when all the Transformers Earthrise figures revealed at New York Toy Fair will be released.
Although...Amazon Canada lists the release date for Doubledealer being July 1st, so hopefully the release dates will be bumped up.

Earthrise release dates, according to Amazon USA.
September 1st: Snapdragon, Allicon, Quintesson judge, Arcee, Airwave, and Smokescreen.
    September 15th: Doubledealer
    October 1st: Skylynx and Scorponok
November 1st: Fasttrack, Runamuck, and Megatron

NOTE: Amazon Canada lists the release date for Doubledealer being July 1st, so time will tell if the release dates change or if Canada will get the Earthrise Transformers before the U.S.

Fair enough; though, if they were to be made, they would be too small to scale with the rest of the line.
The alternative to having both of them being Commanders would be to have Star Saber and Victory Leo be Leaders, with Deathsaurus remaining as a Commander. Jetfire was both a Decepticon, and an Autobot, Sky Lynx is an Autobot, making the final Commander a Decepticon would even things out.

I'll be honest, Victory Leo strikes me more as a Weaponizer that they can sell seperately. Probably Deluxe.
Star Saber could very easily be a plain ol' Jetfire retool (this could also explain JF's Titan Master compatibility, in addition to its transformation and general mass, as it'll come with the Brain of Courage)

    BUT

that said, making Star Saber a Leader that becomes a Commander by combining with Victory Leo would also allow him to stay in-scale with Deathsaurus, who could very very easily be a Doubledealer retool.

    It could work!

Making Deathsaurus a Leader would make him less of a threat; kids would go crazy for a big dragon.

True, but Megatron's only a Voyager. Decepticon baddies need not be gigantic. You don't need to make the toy huge if you've got a vivid enough imagination.

I've been looking at the render for Runamuck's alt mode, & noticed something potentially disappointing. If you look right behind his front wheel, you can see a black bump, which I'm guessing is the 2nd wheel on his bot mode foot.

Which means he has 6 wheels total. Seems like a bit of a lazy workaround.

True, but Deathsaurus still is taller than Jetfire, so size is a thing, and that thing is something Hasbro is trying to follow.

I keep wondering when we're gonna see some of the designs from the TCG.
Detritus from Hound, Needlenose from the tetrajet mold.

Then again, I'm still waiting on Monstructor, so easy remolds aren't always a sure thing. :\
