I took the chrome off of mppppp10 primes facemask using a spray in a glass cup. I cant remember the name of the spray. Didn't hurt the plastic

I did do one leg at a time, and had it soaking in a bigger container. I did have a top on the contain, but not tight just laid loose so air can still get in. Don't know if all that matters, I'm not a pro at stripping paint off . I know after soaking for 3 days the paint came off easy with some brushing. If it don't come off after 3 days maybe soak longer, I know the rubbing alcohol won't affect the plastic because I had some plastic soak in isopropyl in the past for 2 weeks before the paint came off. Hope this helps, and works out for you.

I've got a feeling this is going to test my patience...

I came across this YouTube video that made it look quite easy.

Maybe TW upped their game in terms of quality...

Showz has the Perfect Edition incoming, taking full payment now. Hopefully they'll actually be able to ship it out when they get it. I guess the mail service must be working if they're getting it in at all.

It might depend on what kind of paint they're using. Some will let go just fine with rubbing alcohol while that white they used on their Seaspray's head was harder than real car paint. Just depends how tough it is and what you're using to take it off.

Just got mine in today heck yeah oh, so I can confirm that I did receive a rage face with mine. I got the normal version not that the locks so those of you who got the normal version as well it did not receive a rage face then it was probably a packing error and I recommend you contact your seller. On pawn first inspection looks really good I am bummed out about 1 area though it looks like the paint on one of the figures wasn't dry and when they packed it t,foam touched it and left an imprint but I can easily fix it myself with touching it up via paint

one thing I am noticing as I am not familiar with TW devy until today the treads on one of my guy isnt long enough to wrap around hopefully the few extra pieces are enough.
Anyone know if their are replacement tracks/extra tracks and or the diecast treads being sold separately at all(Don't know if that was previous upgrade)?

In the States we have a product found in our auto part/supply stores called Purple Power. It is a degreaser used on cars. It cleans dirt, grime, oil rust etc. See if you have something similar there. I put it into a small plastic container and fill it up six or seven cm. I did it for MP-10. It was the chrome gold YOTH edition and I wanted to paint it silver. Takes a day or so soaking but it works great. Denatured alcohol works well, too. It isnt as harsh as lacquer thinner but it will soften paint enough to pull some of it up.

Holy B@11$ is the joints on all the figures of my cell shaded are tight, like scary tight that if I keep moving things it will break. I cant even move/bend the combiner shoulder joint at all. I EXTREMELY recommend that if you get this figure you take apart the figures carefully and lightly sand some of the joint posts as they are extremely tight and if you keep bending it will snap the post clean off I dont doubt it for a second.

    UPDATE:
If you are having a hard time dissembling your cell shaded version and some parts are having a hard time coming off posts, get some regular dish soap and let it flow into the cracks/crevices of the part and move it slowly add cold water to it and repeat again with soap working it in and moving the piece and you will notice it will be significantly easier to take out now without risk of breaking any of the figures.

The problem with the huge tightness on the cell shaded version is they went and painted all the posts and connections and the inside of the tube parts that the posts would slide into. Again I would recommend light sanding on the posts and optional maybe some small shock oil/grease to prevent breakage. I have one figure disassembled and sanded and is much better and I dont have to worry about breaking it at all.

The TW combiner head faces on mine are way too tight so I am going to mod the faces to be easily interchangeable with magnets without breakage as because of all the paint it is way too tight and can easily scratch something as it takes a lot of effort to move some things.

    Lmao. Mine too.

The flash? Or lighting, or whatever it is — is giving it a really weird “cartoon in real life” vibe.

    Pretty neat.

You can use a precision screwdriver ( the kind for work on electronic devices ) and loosen up the screws on the joints. That's what I did. Good luck. Must be the precision screw driver because you dont want to strip them down by accident.

The joints that rotate? Have you tried pulling (you'll feel them move) out then rotating?

So I spent a couple hours searching and cant find anything. So my tw constructor when standing straight, has a tendency to tip backwards and fall over. is their a fix to this or is this a common problem that their is none? The combiner hips will not slide forward on mine on that rail to allow for more articulation, is there a release button or something?

It really does. Or like someone photoshopped him in to that pic after clipping him out of a toon screen grab.
