Not necessarily, Animated Arcee had far less car on her back, it should be possible to reduce that even more now that we're 10 years in the future.

Remember we all thought it wasn't possible to make a good Starscream non-parts forming design that could be show-accurate. Then they made the awesome Classics version that outdid itself.

Yeah I like the rest but I'm still bummed about Hot Rod.

 

Brawl is but an offshoot example. You can easily replace him for any legit shellforner that gets a pass. Including 70% of Beast Wars.

 

This is occurring in the Mp thread in regards to ER Arcee but nobody can truly know until seen in hand. I highly doubt this will surpass any ER deluxe in build though.

Cyberverse never appealed to me but some may like the fresh designs.

 

Will be my first Cyberverse figure.

In less than 24 hours, Arcee has been degraded to the point of no return. RIP Arcee. We will always remember the epic Thrilling 30s and Titans Return figures you gave us in better days...

But what if we want the toy of the character that wasn't a glorified USB drive?

 

The thing is a lot of shellformers have at least some integration, and the ones that don’t are usually not important characters so they fade into obscurity, only mentioned in bad toy threads.

G1 Arcee is an important character and gets new toys semi frequently, which tend to be accurate to her design of having absolutely no alt mode integration, which leads to constant bashing. If The PoTP fembot limb mold and Siege Seeker has more altmode integration than a mold, it has serious issues.

TLDR, It’s not that Arcee gets the hate more than other characters for no reason it’s that a G1 accurate Arcee design simply deserves that much hate because it’s so much worse than other characters.

 

I like how Cyberverse Arcee looks. I also like the ER version, I plan to buy both. to me they both look better than the MP and the price is not inducing that much fear for my wallet.

I don't get nor see why or how this Cyberverse Arcee is somehow "better" or even some sort of a must-have over the ER-Arcee...

 

I guarante you that I'll get this figure... but mostly as an excuse for the effect parts. I passed on all but one of the Siege Battlemasters because G1 Targetmasters are some of the lamest shit to ever come out of G1 and they haven't gotten any better in 32 years, and I don't desire Skyfire or Omega Supreme enough to pay for them, but these Cyberverse Deluxes are fun little figures enough for me to feel they're worth it.

I do think this Arcee looks better than the Earthrise and Masterpiece ones, though. I'm satisfied with my Takara Legends figure, but I need some effect parts in my life.

 

Beast Wars was also 23 years ago and still has some less egregious shellformers than ER Arcee, and they didn’t need the shell to be removed.

As opposed to... umm...

...Huh, y’know I was going to mock G1 Arcee’s character the same way, but seeing as how she had no character and did nothing of note at all throughout season 3 despite being a main character, I honestly can’t think of anything. So I guess if you want the non-USB character you’re gonna go with the Cyberverse one, by virtue of her having some kind of personality.
