Tried out this combo last night! Works much better than the IW Jet Power kit, but obviously I don't have the DOTM abs and chest insert yet.
It holds very well, and the backpack kibble is very accepting of the backpack, to the point where you can pose the jet boosters with their solid ratchet joints,
and it won't disturb the pack from the figure very much at all.
I also am going to get my Flight Tech and guns painted, they look excellent all detailed up.
Just like every other Leader mold accessory "unofficial combination", this will be surpassed when "they" can make a properly scaled Jet Wing Set for Black Apple Prime, but for now,
I'm digging this.

 

You might be in luck. TFsafari just shipped one of my orders, so unless it's left their store and is just going to sit in a containment facility until this virus dies down, things might be looking up.

 

I gave it a go too. The murder gauntlets fit on him more securely than on leader Optimus. The wings also hold securely but they are a bit small for him.

I'm going to give them a try for WJ Megatron. I really don't want to wait two months for Showz.

 

Bought me some Black Apple and have to say loving it! Such a painstaking retool and remodel. But my completist itch is scratching, so here’s my question for the group mind;

Does anybody know if any of the trailers released for other version of Optimus will fit the trailer hitch and scale with this alt-mode? Anyone tried? - any 3rd party, official or OS trailer out there that fits the bill? Doesn’t have to be movie, could be G1, I just love me a trailer with ma trucks!

Your photo with Sideswipe and Ironhide makes it look like 'Swipe is wearing Ironhide as some sort of suit of armor. I had to do a triple take at first.

The WeiJiang MPP10 trailer is a direct fit.

Here is a photo from BensKOllectables of the Black Mamba OS MPM-4 Optimus Prime with the WeiJiang MPP10 trailer to get an idea how it would look.


The others have a post connection like shown in the photo below. Some kind of an adapter would need to be made.

 

None of them. Either in aesthetic, scale, or compatibility...

A rehash of what I brought up earlier. To each their own, but imo that trailer does not go with this Prime.

 

Having owned the chrome MP trailer to go with my ROTF Buster Optimus previously, I can confirm that that trailer looks like shit when paired with Movie Optimus. Proportionally way too short and stylistically off.

Aaaaaaand now comes another kit for this Optimus, just saw on Capcomkai Instagram that a kit with a pair of hooks is up for preorder....
This is the third kit after the head, the Dotm kit (that I preordered...) and now the hooks... When will someone do something a little bit bigger (trailer, I m talking about you!!!!)?
