If that's what ROTF Soundwave looks like I'm sold

 

I hope Soundwave comes with a mini Ravage that he can shoot out of his chest. I doubt it, but a man can dream...

 

Im sad, im really not feeling this soundwave, and it was the one i was the most excited for

 

I'm not really feeling the new Satellite Soundwave either. I'll wait to see more images, but as a first impression, it doesn't really strike me as being an improvement.

soundwave will be repurposed though. He will be Amalgomus Prime. to have a figure for all 13, I just need a Studio Series Fallen to be Liege Maximo. Already saw the constructicons, and I was always planning to get them. I don't love the SS Constructicons that much as invididual bots though, honestly all I care about is that they make a good looking Devestator. Sentinel looks great, I just hope someone makes the shield and gun for him (dr wu? Matrix Workshop? Nonnef?) For someone who isn't the biggest fan of the movieverse, I certainly like me some studio series figures

 

Does anyone have a clue where ROTF Soundwave\'s bot mode came from?

I know he\'ll obviously turn into his satellite mode, but the robot mode of the previous ROTF toy was based on concept art.

 

It looks like a retrofitted DOTM Soundwave, since that's the definitive robot mode for him (yaknow, since it actually showed up). I would've liked the 09 but I love this design as well

 

All of these are bought on sight. Sound wave is my least favourite, but I never had any high expectations for him anyway, but he still looks fun. Sentinel looks amazing if the shield was the price to pay for making him a tall voyager then I can live with that.

 

Sentinel Prime is awesome, but ROTF Soundwave is a pass.

Huh. That's a REALLY nice Soundwave design. Considering I was expecting it to be based on the unused Chevy pickup concept art like his original ROTF deluxe, a completely new, more DOTM-inspired take is a welcome surprise. I wonder if it's based on any unreleased concept art or just something Hasbro came up with themselves.

Sentinel is looking awesome. I'll be a bit disappointed if he doesn't also come with the shield, but at least he has his sword which is, IMO, the more important of the two.

 

Soundwave actually looks pretty sweet. Depending on the satellite mode and whether or not it comes with Ravage, I might get it.

Sentinel Prime looks awesome. He is absolutely a must buy for me.

 

Looks like his design from Revenge of The Fallen where he was a satellite. I hope it is a little simpler to transform as the original was a pain.

 

I still wonder if ravage is included with Soundwave.

 

It's cool to see that Soundwave design revisited after all these years. I have fond memories of the original ROTF satellite Soundwave. I think I still prefer the look of the original (which is probably 100% nostalgia), but I'm looking forward to seeing this one's alternate mode.
