No that, like his Siege sword, is the same that his Diaclone and JG1 releases included that Hasbro elected to leave out

because it’s waaaaaaay more cost effective. And if we are talking exclusively about G1 Roller (little Roller), the liberties are as vast as liberties taken with Optimus’ axe from Siege; G1 Roller is a component not a character, this freedom can be taken. Even then if they were to go down the path of retool of FT I am sure it would be sophisticated as you described.

If the promo renders are accurate, it doesn't even line up with the rest of the turret: the portion made from the arms is clearly lower than the part at the front that detaches along with the barrel and the sword.

I don't really want them to use this mold for a G2 Megatron repaint. I'd rather they make a proper G2-inspired version (it can have a G1 deco if they reaaaaally can't do a non-grey/silver Megs) and then get that as both his green tank and purple "Hero" decos (I'm not really a fan of Takara's legends version).

I'm not accepting of it; it's the main reason (outside of cash-flow problems) that I don't think I'll be getting ER Cliffjumper, and it's the same reason I won't be too quick to replace my T30 Arcee or Siege Megatron either.

I think the first time Megatron used a sword was on original G1 cartoon, episode "Fire in the Sky".

Actually, I see what you mean. I know that the Siege and ER versions are supposed to look like G1 Megatron, but without turning into a gun. Unfortunately I HIGHLY doubt we will get another tank Megatron that transforms similarly to the original G2 toy. At least not for a long time.

Yeah, that straight-up repaint of Blurr was super human-woman-looking.

    C'mon man.

It would be pretty easy to do, actually: just reverse the torso so the "shelf chest" is sticking out the back and the back is now a G1-stlyed chest, then they can flip it around for the G2 versions. The cannon, of course, would be removable so it could go on either the shoulder or the forearm depending on which version it is.

Though, admittedly, I did digibash Siege Megatron into his G2 Hero colors and it looked pretty rad. I should ask the mods for permission to post it one of these days (I used one of TFW's photos from their gallery to make it).

They told me so due to someone connected to Hasbro informing them.

Agree. The partsforming stuff is lazy. Arcee and Megatron are devastating blows to collectors.

Well it's a damn good thing these were made for kids and not us, huh? You want "collector" centric? Masterpiece is directly to the East...

Are you saying that a Hasbro Official said that Scorponock is a retool of Omega Supreme as a matter of explicit fact??

Ah yes, all those young kids today watching G1 and spending $30 on five-inch tall deluxe figures of characters they at best vaguely recognize from that one totally separate cartoon that basically only airs online.

scorp size 1.jpg Scorpy size 2.jpg

It looks to me like he is going to be around 40.5cm Tall. Check my work.

If Zarak follows the standard Titanmaster format, he will be exactly 1.5 cm from Chin to the top of his head. I used that length to try to get the length of his orange antenna. There is some fudge factor there, but not much.

Using the length for the antenna, I stacked and attacked a larger full body pic and got my height. I think they probably made him the same height as Omega, and perhaps even a bit shorter. It's true Scorpy is in an "A" stance, but that makes surprisingly little difference. Put Omega in a similar stance and see how much height he loses. Not much. Still, it could bump him UP to Omega's height. But that's about the tallest he's going to be. He's certainly not going to be anywhere near Max's height.

Sorry, guys. I hope I am wrong.

i was ASTOUNDED people defended Hasbro when they went 5POA on the 3.75" line... but they did. But obviously they weren't buying, cuz that line is totally dead now.
