Heavy/Scratch: CHUG Omnibot Camshaft

    Latest custom is the first of my CHUG omnibots, Camshaft as ya can see is the Universe 08 Ironhide figure known as one of the worst Transformers. The reason I went with this figure is because of a Transformer manga what shows Camshaft as a grey/silver versions of the Ironhide toy.

    The modifications I've done fix the arms so they now can sit closer to the body, fixed the head reveal so it actually pops up enough to be seen (still would of liked more) and the last modification was the mouthplate added to give him more of a G1 look. After that it was just a straight repaint.

    Thoughts?

    I guess there's precedent for it, but I'm not really feeling that mold for camshaft.

    Huh, never would have guessed Camshaft as an Ironhide repaint. The custom itself came out great.

    Cheers, honestly didn't like it either until I fixed some of its flaws and repainted it as camshaft and now, honestly he's one of my favorite things

    Agreed. I don't think the mold fits Camshaft.

    The actual work is pretty excellent, though!

    I know, in your video, you said you didn't get a lot of love for this guy when you posted it. (I'm late, but I just recently jumped on board) So here's a TON of it!! This is incredible!! All your Omnibots are!! You've inspired me to use similar molds to make my own! I've never had this Ironhide mold, but it works, perfectly! Great job on all the Omnibots!! Just awesome!!
