One thing Arcee kinda points out to me is that this franchise needs (for a multitude of reasons) new female character designs that can be made without being shellformers or partsformers.

 

just because it can come off doesnt mean it has to, her product description makes it clear that it is an optional feature. also i love the fact that this is such a sticking point for some people since the backpack was one of the biggest complaints about the t30 figure, so much so that customers and even weijiang modded the backpack to be a removable shield

 

I am concerned there doesn’t seem too be many Titan master pegs on Scorp. Fasttrack has 2 of them. I just hope there will be more noticeable pegs when we actually get to see him. Base mode looks a little underwhelming but Bot mode looks pretty freakin great.

Airwave was my most anticipated figure so I still can’t wait for this weekend. Glad there was a teaser for stuff since I was going crazy here waiting for toy fair, haha.

 

If anyone has the Earthrise version of Astrotrain, can you confirm if they fixed the flaps on the launchpad so that it can rest flat?

Scorp looks outstanding.

 

I know it's a lost cause given the general tenor of Transformers over the last few years, but I still hold out hope to one day have a Leader Scorponok.

 

ill sell you my custom energon scorponok with claws and headmaster   its honestly probably the closest to a leader scorponok we will ever get

 

Thinking I might hold out and see if the Botcon version drops in price now that the Titan is announced.

 

I ended up missing out on the T30 Arcee, so this one should do nicely for my collection. The optional "hoverboard" isn't that big of a deal to me. We've had worse examples of "partsforming" in the past.

I don't think it's so much a problem with the female designs per se so much as all the TFTM designs, which leaned hard into humanoid shapes.

I was kind of hoping for more of the Siege treatment eventually with them where they get accurate robot modes and then new vehicle modes almost reverse engineered around their screen accurate robot modes.

few years back i modded it with the green king claws from head robots, a shapeways headmaster adapter and the perfect effect death stalker headmaster, its been my scorponok since. pretty nice figure overall
