Has there been official confirmation of both Runabout and Runamuck? Or is the non- vote character only assumed at this point?

Cool, thanks! I imagine they might hold off on revealing Smokescreen, Megatron and Runamuck until one of the later conventions. We'll likely get to see all the July releases this weekend at Toy Fair. Exciting stuff!

assumed only but fan vote bots usually get a repaint as a different version of the same character so my theory is a "stealth" runamuck in red and black

I've just opened up my Starscream that I'd ordered from Kapow and...he is missing his null rays, thought it looked strange in box, thought maybe the null rays may be packed separate but nope, but after opening him up, they are just missing altogether. Quick email to Kapow to see what they can do about it.

Comparing to online photo's of boxed Starscream, his Null Rays should be attached to his arms in box, correct?

I’m fine with partsforming, and I’d be fine with a partsforming Arcee, but I get why people would be annoyed. No previous G1 Arcee figures have needed partsforming, so why should this one? Again, I’m fine with it in the end, but it’s a bit worrying to see two figures in the same line normalising a feature usually reserved for the most dire of “how the hell does this transform?” designs.

there've been a grand total of 2 "g1" arcee figures, t30 and titans return, which by nature of being a headmaster requires partsforming. so 50% of "g1" arcee figures released so far have needed partsforming

That's two in a row that I avoided "THATSWHATSHESAID!" Please, no more. I don't think I can resist a third...

But isn't that just Runabout? I know technically the G1 versions had different molding, but they're usually depicted as pretty straight recolors of each other, so I don't see a reason why they would release 2 versions of Runamuck. Does that mean they wouldn't release a proper Runabout? I know the fan vote bots tend to get a repaint, but this seems to be an odd way to do it. Personally, I'm pulling for a grey and yellow colored repaint named Runaround.

Regardless, yay to more obscure characters!

if my theory holds true (and its literally just me spitballing based on previous vote characters being repainted as themselves in different colors) then it would indeed be runabout in execution however it would be 1 less trademark they would have to secure (remember that at least back when the club was around the funpub runabout had to be called over-run becuase hasbro didnt have the trademark, not sure if they've obtained it since) and would also leave the option of giving runabout his own mold later on if they wanted to match g1

I think they’ll do another fan-vote pack like the siege 3 pack but this time it’ll be a special repaint of runamuck and runabout together and maybe a third figure repaint if they want to keep it the same price as the siege pack.

That makes sense, I wasn't collecting around that time, but I remember reading about that when looking into buying toys of the Battlechargers. Hopefully they've got the trademark back, because Runabout is a way cooler name than Over-Run.

see, my theory is that runamuck is the wave 4 single release and "stealth runamuck" (again assuming hasbro still doesnt have the runabout trademark) will be in a multipack, possibly with blue and orange versions of the battlechargers from devastation or with 2 modulator repaints.

agreed, but like i said i think runabout will just be released as a stealth version of runamuck that just so happens to look like his brother

I think the battle chargers from devastation would make lovely army-builders and if they go that route and I hope we see the purple seeker generics from that game (I think they were called air-warriors?) get released in some capacity as well!

More of a wishcast than any kind of theory, but if they do separate molds for Runabout and Runamuck, we're that much closer to having enough Throttlebot molds.
