Yeah the EVE set is coming in the mail too as well.
So yours are the same material as mine, same box too? I had hoped there is a better quality version they knocked it off from. The photos on aliexpress make this look better molded than it actually is.

Thanks. I was curious if there are any changes (improvements) on these Cyber Battalion KOs (shame they didn't make KOs of later releases).
As of OS KO RID 2015 - thanks again   . I think I'll pick Grimlock, maybe Prime... These are quite easy to obtain since I've spotted them in retail stores in my area  . I'm trying to complete at least the core cast from S1 (I already got Bumblebee, I know where I can find Strongarm, sadly Sideswipe is nowhere to be found   ), KO Grimlock would better scale with the rest of the team than that Hasbro's deluxe  .

 

Those are amazing, do you have any info on them? Are these old bootlegs that you found randomly?

 

The Optimus Prime, Megatronus, and Grimlock are all nice to have since they scale better with the actual official Hasbro deluxes. I quite like the Megatronus and Grimlock (in spite of the potential issue with Grimlock's elbows)... I don't own the Prime, but I've handled one.

On the down side, they actually simplify the molds a little bit in some cases. The Drift feels a bit panel-y and hollow. The Strongarm is pretty solid, but one of the hinges on her canopy is simplified so it doesn't bend as far, meaning her back kibble hangs off her even WORSE than the Hasbro version. That figure already had some flaws, and the WJ OSKO doesn't really fix any of that.

Sideswipe is great - if you can find him. The figure is really fun at the larger size, and everything pegs in securely. Maybe the best in the set. It was actually a Sirtoys flash-sale item not that long ago, so I got one very cheap.

As for the Cyber Battalion KOs... Megatron is the only one I've handled. I don't think they've made any improvements. Megatron's head is a bit weird (and also hollow from behind), but he's got knees and elbows due to his transformation, so that's cool.

Yes these are old bootlegs, probably from the 90's. I bought them from a random seller in Singapore, not too sure of the origin country but most likely China made, and they came in stapled plastic baggies so most likely originally sold as cheap corner store toys, party favors, etc. Hope that helps in your future search.

 

So my ko’s finally came in. 1:1 grim and os limbs. These are my left overs from the kits. I’ll have to dig out my other for a sbs comp.
