Personally, I'm not really a fan of the style of Windblade, Primal looks cool and Rodimus is a Sex Machine!

I dig them all. I'll get them eventually. The Rodimus is definitely the first buy though.

 

Yeah, Rodimus is Number 1 on my list, I probably will get Primal at some point But I want to see the Lio Convoy first. WIndblade's design just does nothing for me.

 

I think she'll look a lot better with color added, but I'm a sucker for fembots.

I’m hoping Windblade will look better when she’s out of grey renders. She’s looking less TF and more like someone in nightmare armour with tiny repulser vtol wings. Mix in the chibi face... just doesn’t feel right.

 

Actually... She reminds me more of Neo-Okusar with a Jet Boy attached.

I'm sure there will be a variant. They did 3 colors of the original Optimus and Seeker mold. It's an easy recolor and sell.

 

Good to know, if they did do it it would absolutely be an instant buy.

 

As I said in the news thread, I supsect they will do both and only one will come with a smirking face to annoy those who got the other one... You know like Megatron

How much do these cost? I don't collect them but I kind of want to get that Windblade at least.

 

35$ to 50$ average Devastator costs 75$+

 

Average price for the Furai kits is $35 usd, but expect to pay more for the bigger ones like Devastator, at around $85, which I assume means the Boss Monkey will be around $65 usd, or more.

That Windblade looks like she belongs as as part of an anime/manga IP....not Transformers.

 

RANT INCOMING:

I have always had a strong dislike for the soft plastic the base layer joints are made out of. I have always thought it was a poor choice and I alway thought it would lead to problems in the future. Well guess what? I noticed my Thundercracker had a very loose left leg when I was posing him. Please note, he has been standing on a shelf for a month in a half. I decided to look into it, and this is what I found:

The peg joint is completely cracked. The worst part about this is my other big criticism of Flame Toys, there are no extra pieces, so I cannot possibly fix this. I'm leaving him as is, as a display piece, and I will by more of there stuff. This is just very frustrating because this just adds to the problems the seeker already has. This just sucks.
