Windblade is.... nicee. Probably won't get that one past the wife tho. LOL. I'll just go ahead and say pass on her for the sake of peace.

Rodimus is... the same design that I didn't like in the comics. Pass. Gimme a Studio Ox or Trigger design Roddy and we'll talk.

 

I understand this argument on Windblade but the other two are perfectly convincing as designs that could transform. Primal never had an incredibly complex transformation and that Rodimus is based on a cybertronian design that just loosely looks like a car anyway.

 

So now that this Windblade exists as an official product on the front page, can we post pics of that 3P Arcee now? This design is every bit as sexualized as that Firebird design.

Rodimus is an instant buy because I'm all in on the IDW models! I've stayed away from Flame Toys's original designs so far, but that Primal looks amazing! I may have a change of heart there. Windblade looks cool but... wierd to me. I don't know what it is. My eyes are having a hard time making sense of the very piecemeal features. Maybe seeing her in color will win me over.

 

Christ that Windblade body looks like a generic feudal Japan anime girl head chucked onto Alita 1\'s body with two rotor blades at the back.

Wow, I was convinced Flame Toys was moving on from the IDW designs, but that Rodimus is absolutely perfect and gives me hope they will continue with more MTMTE cast down the line.

Windblade is not quite the design I would have preferred, but others sure seem to like it.   Still looks cool though

Primal is...interesting. Not sure where I'm going to display him, but that hasn't stopped me before.

as much as i don't like this double standard at least you're coming forward and being honest about it.
last thing i want is someone BS'n me as to why this is ok and this isn't

 

Hard to speculate ,but flametoys is currently quite sticker heavy in comparison to modern hg . But masking or painting shouldn’t be an issue , their parts separation is quite sensible for painting .

 

Oh man, I\'m buying that Rodimus and Windblade on sight.

 

I have not purchased any of these yet, but that Rodimus may have to be mine...

 

YESSS SHE'S STILL HAPPENING FINALLY IT'S BEEN ALMOST 2 YEARS

 

Ok, after my initial reaction, I am now remembering that the two Furai kits I own (Megs and Drift) only have one face option. It would be a colassal mistep to not include an alternate smirking face on that Rodimus. MTMTE Roddy was the epitome of cockiness, and that stoic face is not fitting at all.

More Flame Toys stuff is always great to see.

Primal looks awesome, it's a new but familiar take on his design so that's cool. Rodimus is based on his MTMTE look, and despite how much I loathe MTMTE Rodimus for being an immature manchild who never grows up, I still very much like the Don Figueroa inspired design. Windblade is looking pretty stylized and intricate, need to see in color. Due to how delicate and slim her figure is I'd kind of like to see someone make a cute custom kimono for her to wear.
