Why in God's name did she ever get a Stratagem? There are so many others that needed to benefit from one, she wasn't it.

They need to change the name from Windblade, Combiner Hunter to Blitzwing, Relentless Foe. THAT SoB could sure use 1 more DEF and HP.

Pretty sure it's the POTP design based on the sides of the arms and legs

Nah. The +1 HP and armor will factor into the whole game. That Kups strat may never even go off.
Well maybe so. But blitzwing is also a SR.
Even though there are some SR who badly need some stratagems. I think fixing the uncommon and commons would have been a better idea. Not everyone had super rares.
This strat should also work on the starter pack windblade. I dont know if itd fix that one. But no one is even trying to play that one.

Yes but for 1 HP (which is nothing) and 1 def you are paying a star. And paying 1 star isn't just paying 1 star in this case. It's moving Windblade from 12 to 13, which is very big. It means that even in 2 wide configurations Windblade will be the big bot. And she can't go 4 wide with 4, 4, 5 star partners anymore. She also can't run a 6 and 7 star at the same time. This is a big hamper on her. because if she's supposed to be "the big bot" then she needs more health. I think playing this stratagem makes her worse than her 12 star mode because of how it eats into your build opportunity cost.

Kup is a bad card, and his stratagem doesn't make him better, but it's atleast a new way to think about him and something to try and build to (which will never go off). I don't see where Windblade's Stratagem encourages new deck building besides restricting your resources.

That's an incredible card and super cool bit of design.

We knew he was coming, but here is Fort Max!
The Transformers Trading Card Game's Fortress Maximus Is Three Bots In One

Mechanics seem neat. At 1 wide for 25 stars. I still think he might need more health in city mode, (even with 2 heads). A wide aggro deck could get consecutive kills after turn 1, especially if you're running Fort Max mixed like the abilities want you to.

Edit: Mini FAQ: All three cards start in play, and thus count to the total star cost. Fortress Maximus MUST use Cerebros, but may use Emissary or any other second head. Cerebros' head bonus applies to Fortress Maximus, but the second head's bonus does not. It only applies to Cerebros, once Cerebros is deployed. Emissary is a regular head which can be used in combination with other bodies, but Cerebros is not - he must pair only with Fortress Maximus. #wotcstaff
