Legitimately curious, what do you mean by this? In what way does the figure look "cheap"? And "remember" like your memory of the original toy?

 

As an Optimus collector, I'm in for this figure. I have the original toy and it's one of my favorites. Even though I've never seen any Beast Wars besides the American version, which I enjoy greatly. I think they did a great job at bringing him into the Masterpiece line. Can't want to get him, but since I ordered on Pulse, I certainly will be waiting.

 

I'm definitely looking forward to this. Lio's beast most obviously is compromised but the robot mode looks great. After the utter pointlessness of MP 44 & 45 and the absolute disaster of MP 47, the Beast Wars MPs were the shining light in a dismal 2019 for Masterpieces and Lio looks to continue that trend (hopefully, as long as QC doesn't go all Hound on us).

As a side note, one of these days I need to try to watch BW2.

 

Those who hated Beast Wars is understandable.  I felt the same towards Animorphs.  
Seeing BW Primal & Megatron in stores in 96 rekindled my love thinking \"theyre back\" but totally missed out on Machine Wars in 95.
 MW Starscream was still out when BW hit.
BW2 & Neo were so good.

Anyone who wishes BW never happened and wanted to keep G1 going, check out those Brave Transformers.

Legally (in the UK anyway) a product is “made in ____” if it is finished assembly there- which means Lio Convoys could be built in Thailand, but only get packaged in China. It’s how GW gets away with saying their Warhammer miniatures are “made in the UK”

 

Can we get a U.S. home release of Beast Wars II and Neo first?  It\'d be more popular worldwide if people knew who the character is.  I don\'t, and I\'d rather experience the true release if it ever happens.

dang, that's a shame.

I know it makes it more show accurate, but honestly I could see a simple parts swap to accomplish the same effect since in the anime the transition from organic to mechanical lion is accomplished with a fade and shine effect.

 

I’m curious how easily those lion legs can be taken off in bot mode, no other toys of this guy has em sticking out quite this bad and I’d just like the opinion for photos to just remove them accuracy be damned, I seriously don’t ever remember them looking that gooftastic in the show eleven tho I know they just sat there

I honestly hate these new \"masterpieces\",there far too overpriced,poorly built and shottly desgined   Makes me miss the days of MP10 and the such...

 

How is it that the leg kibble is worse than the original toy?

From the front this looks great. Beast mode isn't that great though.

 

If I were you I'd really carefully and closely inspect the joints on yours...I was lucky with mine and only have a couple hairline cracks (so far) but take a look at the MP Hound thread...some members have posted pictures that look like their Hound literally exploded after transforming it.
