Same here. If Battlestars Return of Convoy is included I feel a bit of - closure with this.

 

If they toss in Operation Combination's stuff then it'll be complete.

I'm just dreading they're going to shoehorn IDW nonsense into these the same way they did with the DVDs.

The early ones in particular are especially shameless about just plugging the toys. Decepticons attack someplace, the new characters announce themselves and defeat the baddies with some named attack. I'm honestly not sure I'm even gonna bother picking these up; for the reason I mentioned above, and the fact that most of the stories are unbelievable mediocre and I already own the old Japanese release so I can just ogle at the artwork already and just read scanlations if I actually want to know what's going on.

Plus with scanlations, I can just edit them myself into something more agreeable.

I can't say this enough, great job by Viz!

I thought even having all the material from the 2001 Japanese Manga Omni would be fine, but they went above and beyond with the extra images. Only two small images missing, but they're totally negligible.

The final Battlestars (The last section) isn't printed like a Playboy centerfold and normal in the Viz version which is great as well!

I can't finally replace my Manga Omni that explodes every time I open it.

 

My Volume 3 just shipped from Amazon, will have it Tuesday.

I know, just it is funny that yours is showing shipped while mine is not showing any movement. Just being a bit silly. =) I figure mine is probably already at the local hub and they haven't updated anything. Probably won't even tell me it is out for shipment and I'll get the notification that it was delivered.

 

At first it didn't say shipped when I was on my laptop. When I checked it with my phone it said it had. My laptop didnt update that until the next day. Have you tried another device to check?

 

I actually used the Amazon app to check, but yeah good idea. Let me look at the site instead.
