Never had issues like that with them before, so it must be the TW's secrecy. I do recommend them for other companies as they usually have excellent customer service. Sucks that you had this experience with a $500+ figure.

 

What's the consensus from everyone on "Old Green" TW-C07G these days? It looks like there will be 500 pieces made compared to the 200 from the old yellow & cell shaded. Does that mean they'll be for sale for quite a while or does 500 dry up pretty quickly too?

 

got my purple mixing barrel and burden feet in today   just waiting for the g1 head and unearth to come in and i`m done with this guy 

 

Perfect edition (C07X) is 300pcs - I preordered at the start of December just before it released and it's still available everywhere a few months later.

Although the "old green" looks a lot different to any other variant right, so it may be a lot more popular.

 

So from what I read about the cell shaded set, The Angry/Rage face only comes with the Deluxe edition? If someone who bought the normal edition got a Angry/Rage face please feel happy to prove me wrong.

But if it only comes in the deluxe edition, then almost every site up until recently (guess they changed it) was putting wrong information about the contents of the set. When I first ordered mine in late Dec. it only mentioned that the deluxe would have the diecast treads, mini wheel jack, "Extra Head". Now a lot of the sites are changing it to roar face. Kind of a shame as I would have paid more money knowing I wasn't going to get it.

But I guess their is a silver lining in some shape, BBTS has the TW heads being sold in green and yellow.

 

i did pre order theses over on the chosen prime. but one of there representatives cancelled them as toy world was not re-releasing the heads or the add on kits any more. but luckley for me a seller i have been buying from had one of each of the add on kits left. of course i swooped in and took them both. the purple barrel the burden feet the G1 style head and the green thigh kit. i was getting ready to sell the original devy because i couldn`t find those add on kits any where at the time. but i`m glad i didn`t sell them as i finally found those kits after a year and a half search.

 

@Omega23 - Toyworld is pretty crap when it comes to replacements both when reaching out directly as an end consumer or even through retailers. U can barely get parts, let alone packaging /boxes.

I'm pretty sure no retailers from China guarantee packaging/box condition via their free shipping service. Did you pay for a higher grade of shipping or something?

I've come to accept that along with the much cheaper prices China sellers provide, I've had to be willing to accept that some boxes will be crushed. I probably have like a 5% crush rate, but honestly.. For the amount I save on the figure plus shipping, it's very much worth it. I know @ShowZStore will guarantee that the product isn't damaged, but even if you look st the main China sellers on eBay, they almost all have a clause now saying they cannot replace or guarantee box/ packaging condition.

Perhaps ordering from BBTS or one of the north American retailers, and then paying for the extra collector box packaging plus shipping to Australia might be more worth it for you if box condition is important to you.

Out of curiosity anyone who got the cell shaded constructor but the deluxe version can you take a picture of the new diecast treads I want to know what colour they are

i just got in my last piece of the constructor in today scavenger. finally after two years of searching i have completed the set which i didn`t think i would be able to do coming into the game for him so late. i was going to sell them as i didnt think i would find the last two which were his arms. and also finding all those add on upgrade kits. the G1 head, burden feet green thigh pieces and lat fillers and the purple barrel for mix master.  

 

i wonder if any one would make some custom parts for these figures? i would like to see some one craft some green shoulder pieces to fit over the tires of scrapper to make it look more G1 and make some of the parts for long haul like the way he looks in the show having the window part that's under his shoulder plug into the gap on top of his shoulder and the smoke stack to plug into the other side now that would look more G1.

 

Taking @davidsix 's advice with the isopropyl. I couldn't get the rear thigh pieces off. The screws are crazy tight and I have a habit of stripping screws. I don't think I'll mind the silver in the back... anyway... you can see the green underneath in the first pic and in the second one, there's some silver swirl appearing in the alcohol. Would be neat to watch in a time lapse video.

 

Just got the G2 Dirty Devy in - he is fun! I stayed up late last night putting him together, but not before I took pics of each piece individually so I could do stuff like this. Mixmaster is photoshopped in below - I think he looks good, but with some time could probably get it to look even better!
