Goddamn, I personally think that looks better than the original head. The black pops.

Evening rolls around. I find myself tired and worn down. Another instance of the daily grind. And just work. and people. In some ways, I kinda want to get poetic about it. In others, I just want to curl up.

Watched Sonic movie over the weekend. Was laughing throughout. Not exactly a game changer, but very good, very enjoyable, and a real family movie. Jokes around when it wants to, gets heartfelt when it needs to, and Jim Carrey is full 90's Jim Carrey at his best. Thoroughly enjoyed it. And it would not have worked had they kept the original design, so kudos to the director and VFX guys on changing that. Also, he was freaking adorable when he curled up into his ball.

Still got Warden, FP Bruticus and takara Tigatron for sale if anyone wants them.

Watching my way through FullMetal Alchemist. It's a good series, I'm really enjoying it. At the half way point. Looking forward to seeing where the story is going to go.

No Prime. He'll probably turn up tomorrow.

Been replaying Vice City. Found a vehicle that I've never seen before, an actual old bus driving around. Never even knew they were in the game. The coach, yes. But not a Bus. Also, ran out into the road to hijack a car. The guy managed to drag me back out of the car, but in doing so, made a police officer run over and start beating him up. I joined in the fight and got the $50 good citizen bonus. Then when he was on the ground, kept kicking him and got about $300 extra. That did make me laugh.

Wife has made Tom Yum. That's really nice, so I'll enjoy eating some of that later.

My knees have started feeling weak when I sit down and stand up. Don't know what's going on there. Just a lot of mileage I guess.

Ok, I'll end my rambles now. Just felt like having a little ramble of gibberish.

I'll take more pics later as I haven't even transformed him yet, but Astrotrain despite the shortness and serious overpricing needs to be part of your collection.

He's too grey, right? Yes, but the second you realise all that chunkiness is fully posable and a Decepticon John Wick, you'll be happy with your £43, free delivery purchase from Comics and Cocktails :D .

Word from the (now) wise(er) when it comes to transformation, make sure the arms/back end is fully aligned and locked in - not having everything locked right and tight was really throwing off his wings alignment in shuttle mode in particular.

A future Marvel Vs Capcom game should have Deadpool pop up when you hit someone in a specific spot as a nod to the "Toasty!" guy in Mortal Kombat :D

Did you dismantle the head to do this? If so how hard was it to take apart?

A trip to Brum and I return festooned with delights, though sadly no Earthrise despite Forbidden Planet being quite well stocked otherwise. And yes indeed, that is a Squirrel Girl right there. Eats nuts, kicks butts.

    Knackered now. Mood:

Nope, it's only on a mushroom peg!
I used a plastic glue spatula behind the head to shove it forwards off the peg, then (very carefully when it came to the inside lip of the brow and cheek guards) painted it up on an improvised blutack neck/head stand.
Let it cure until touch dry, then pushed it back on. Bingo, Toy Deco Head!

FP getting the Squirrel Girl wave so quick and they're charging less than £50 per figure. More proof we are in Bizarro World :D

@Seeaich your mod to Grapple is brilliant, amazing what a bit of paint can do to a figure.

I’ve booked tickets to the Sonic movie. My kids want to see it. Good job I want to see it too :D

The mold is Universe Nightstick. Colours look different, though. Edit: TFWiki says it's the "Challenge at Cybertron" version.

Think that's the TM that came with Universe Cyclonus back in 08. That one or one of his repaints, at least.

can comfirm, I got a Hotrod and Cyclonus two-pack and it included this figure. Still my favourite targetmaster.

and, in case I haven’t said it already, Sonic was incredible. Genuinely one of the best movies of the year, not including 1917. Really hope they make a proper cinematic universe with it, the sonic franchise deserves a break.

    GOD FUCKING DAMMIT HASBRO!

I feel bad for having to email off to Kapow to get this sorted. I really wish Hasbro had a decent customer service support system in the UK because good guys like Andy shouldn't have to deal with QC issues caused by the supplier.

Yup, there's pieces that you could so easily break and/or need somewhat forced into position like the skirt parts in shuttle mode.
