“We will support Hasbro’s in-house IP and now find ways of bringing that to screen internally. Hasbro wants eOne to thrive, and from a distribution POV, they want us to be the portal through which we can take that content to the world. Even if it’s a kids brand, it could be integrated into a cross-generational family (offering). Hasbro is a family business but there is a lot there that isn’t just in the kids space.”

Wonder what this means for Paramount's future? Hasbro-Paramount agreement will expire by 2022, as well. Right time for eOne to kick in.

So, how does this fit in with Discovery Family, Allspark Pictures, and Boulder Media Studio's; all of this infrastructure, they must be getting ready for something Big.

Paramount would still be needed for theatrically released movies. As far as their contract, a typical contract is extended if something is in active development. That's another reason why they likely have two Transformers franchises in development for the big screen. Hasbro would be less likely to want to reboot two franchises just after rebooting once successfully.

Allspark and Boulder are owned by Hasbro.

Entertainment One seems to have been acquired by Hasbro as well, plus they have renewed their contract with Paramount, plus there was supposed to be a Netflix Transformers series dropping this year... So.... They own a bunch of entertainment producing entities, while at the same time work with others to also produce entertainment, all at the same time? Is this how it's usually done? I'm genuinely confused.

Won't they be, essentially, competing with themselves? For example, every one of these entities, seem to be producing Transformers content at some point, among other things. Possibly, at the same time, like you said.

Is Disney competing with themselves? They constantly release multiple projects at the same time and even movies close to each other. Either way they get money from you. With Hasbro TV shows get you to buy toys, while the movies get you to buy completely different toys and gets them extra money through ticket sales. Just means extra money with more projects.

Transformers alone has multiple lines, and Hasbro owns multiple IP's, so yup, checks out.

Will it be potential crossover material? Or are the IPs going to stay pretty much on their own?

All i can picture is DnD and Transformers together like that g1 episode with the knights

A live-action tv show is out of question because would be too expensive a tv animated movie is more likely to happen.

Good, Paramount has been doing good with Bumblebee, and Sonic; so there learning, I hope they don't relapse.

Fingers crossed, man. Kinda worried about that Snake Eyes movie, that's advertised for seemingly everything that Snake Eyes isn't supposed to be. But I reserve judgement and hope for the best, honestly.

Dungeons and Dragons? Does that mean modern updates of the classic figures? I hope so.

Hasbro has to justify to shareholders sheir purchase of EntertainmentOne.

I'm not sure any of this fluff means anything. Hasbro is struggling to make a relevant TF program, with their Generations stuff kind of failing, and Cyberverse failing, too. TF Prime (which I loved) also failed (in terms of toy sales).

I think Hasbro chose to do more G1 stuff in Cyberverse specifically because they are counting on fans to pick up the slack - kids are not into the product (poor sales).

I hope EntOne can fix all of this, but... I expect Hasbro to continue depending on Paramount movies, with mediocre kids programming that doesn't sell toys.

Hasbro mentioned D&D in their earnings call, so I can tell you its on the top of their list to boost the brand. Toys will come, so long as they can get a successful movie or show to drum up interest. It's the Hasbro formula, and to be fair, it's made them the more successful toy company.
