Not really if you think about it, people are just impatient and want details on every single step of the production or else the sky is falling. Netflix, rooster teeth and hasbro don’t have to give any details on this show till they are ready

I'm curious if you actually read anything from the first announcement. Because the writers and animators had already been chosen, and not by RT.

From what I can gather people are saying that Rooster teeth is paying other studios for the work.

So either rooster teeth is involved with the process or rooster teeth is responsible for overseeing it.

Hopefully, this was before the giant shitstorm rooster teeth during 2019.

All we know is rooster teeth are involved in some nebulous manner. Polygon pictures is animating it, FJ Desanto is show runner, and George Krstic, Gavin Hignight and Brandon Easton are writing it

You mean the He-Man show run by a famous and award winning nerd/writer/director/movie star, and with a cast of familiar names

If we were getting a Transformers series created by Robert Rodriguez starring Harrison Ford, Dave Bautista, Peter Dinklage, and Allyson Hannigan, you'd be hearing about it too.

So... Settle for less? Like Transformers is some obscure franchise? Am I the only one who feels like a Transformers series on Netflix should be big news?

To be fair, He-Man was a dead franchise before She-Ra came along. People are kinda excited to see it come back as a serious action show and not as some Teen Titans Go ripoff. Transoformers is like Pokemon or Spider-Man. You say there's a new Transformers series and most people say, "Another one?"

For that to happen, they need to actually advertise it....

It is rare that at this point of the year we do not have a one poster at least.

The trailer has to be in this month or in March...but at this point I doubt it.

Masters of the Universe hasn't been on TV for 16 years, and that was a failed run of under 40 episodes.

Transformers has had 15 series in the US since 1997, with few if any years off, not to mention 6 major motion pictures. Yet the latest incarnation of the series which is being produced, written, and starring the usual suspects that no one outside the fandom knows is not going to generate news.

    Yes really, actually.

The show is about War for Cybertron, and in the toyline not only is it one third concluded already, but the actual Cybertron part is over.

it was announced a year ago as being in development, what do you want? for them to crap out another sub par series like the prime wars trilogy? things take time to make and a year of development time is not unreasonable.

I have a bad feeling this will just be like prime wars and be a train wreck, Doesn't help they share some writers.

You know what would kick ass, A Transformers show written by Man Of Action and Animated by Studio Trigger.
    Wishful thinking.

I have hope for this series, the premise of it has me excited but this lack of communication has me worried. Worst case I hope they delay the series to get a new show runner if they have to or better writers if the scripts aren’t good. I don’t care if the release of it doesn’t aline with the wfc toy releases, I just want a good transformers show with care put into it.
