Everyone else is ripping their hair out over partsforming and giving righteous sermons about value, costs, and shit and I'm just living up this G1 golden age. More for me I suppose. WfC is better in two installments than Prime Wars hands down! While I think T30 Arcee is fantastic I'm interested to see where this figure takes the character. Might not replace the T30 one and let both co-exist.

 

Not sure how much better a deluxe class Arcee can get in comparison to Takara's Transformers Legends version from a few years back, but I'm excited to see this new one! I'm really not a stickler for parts forming. It's not exactly something that is uncommon in the history of the toy line. Sounds like it's only present to enhance the robot mode much like with Cliffjumper.

 

Hopefully we see something soon, last Toyfair IGN releases images 10 days prior to Toyfair.

I mostly want to see Sky Lynx, Double Dealer, the Micromaster Stations and the mysterious RID2001 homage figure

 

It's an accessory. Wouldn't you prefer that it integrates with the alt mode instead of having it sit off to the side to collect dust?

I wouldn't care about the Earthrise Arcee partsforming if the generations one wasn't so close to perfect.

 

Arcee's backpack being removable to form a hoverboard would be a smart way to let her transform and retain her usual toy look...or her animated look without the backpack.

What're people's problem with integrated weapons and accessories? It was one of the best things besides ball joints that BW brought to the line.

 

The phrasing of Arcee's listing leads me to believe Arcee's backpack doesn't necessarily come off for transformation, but possibly after it. So she might be just like T30 Arcee where you can choose to take it off or leave it on, except it has a function if you take it off this time. And unlike Cliffjumper and his bullshit "shield", Arcee's hoverboard might actually look like a decent hoverboard just due to the nature of the aesthetic and geometry of Arcee's car mode.

I know that Arcee has more of an excuse to partsform than Cliffjumper, but if CHUG is gonna start to try and normalize partsforming on top of degrading into literally just G1 over again with nothing changed from G1, I think I'll have to quit this line.
