    This is the stuff.

    upload_2020-2-15_21-58-12.png

Depending on where you're using it, the process differs. For disc hinges, pin joints and so on, dropping just a drop or two (using a toothpick or tiny screwdriver dipped into the liquid) into the spot where a surface meets a surface will suffice. It's very thin and will seep into the joint. Then it's a matter of leaving it for 24 hours to properly cure. My Siege Ironhide, Magnus and GF Prime (and yes, Flame Toys Tarn!) are all nice and tight with this method.

On balljoints, paint on a layer and leave it for a similar time. All processes may require further applications depending on looseness.

I'd recommend clear nail polish over it when you can pop out something like a ball joint to be honest. But this stuff is amazing for hinges and pins. Game changing.

Probably another TFN I'm not gonna be able to make all things considered. Got a credit card bill to pay due to having to use it to see myself and my wife through December and January due to starting new job, getting emergency taxed, having to get car through it's MOT and other bollocks. I wasn't gonna pay the amount to see Peter Cullen, but hey, might be able to swing a single day ticket closer to the time if they're available. If not, well no loss.

You know what? I caved and went back to the Tesco and picked up the Urine Batman. Will keep Robin to open later!

In other news I got my TFN 2020 ticket and hotel is confirmed!

LEGO or scratchbuilding, if the latter you might have to invest in quite a bit of Superfine White Milliput! ;)
    Happy building!

Anything in those The Corps sets you see in Smyths? Or the similar stuff in B&M?

I'm going to spend ages poring over these, and thanks for the Manbat info!

That's fantastic, really appreciate it. I'll be giving it a go!

It seems the PS5 will be costly. I can't see myself buying one anyway tbf, too many games I haven't even touched, plus a hacked PS Mini that hasn't been used in months...

Report: Sony struggling with PS5 costs, price point uncertain

Out of the way Hot Rod!

Well, I am officially full of shit. I said I wasn’t going to go for a leader package but at the end of the day, I couldn’t not, given the opportunity so, getting to meet a lifelong hero and giddy at the prospect!

@Prescient: the LEGO space pic brings back some very happy memories; had that LL924 ship as a kid <3 <3. I think I got it for a birthday present from my Mum and Dad.

When I’ve finished collecting tfs (ha!), I want to go back and get one of these, and an action man police motorcycle, another happy memory from my yoof.

This might be my favourite year of Space. I prefer Blacktron 2 to Blacktron, and much prefer Space Police to Space Police 2. Although the vehicle designs were still ace in SP2 the colours just weren't as strong.

I had 6276, 6259, 6285, 6257, 6234, 6235, and 6245 (didn't actually realise how much of the line was made up of smaller sets, and I'd totally forgotten about most of the hangouts!)

Only had 6066, 6034, and 6018 from the medieval line.

That will be an interesting one to see. On Tarn especially for how they handle the paint applications. Because that thing is fucking gorgeous and painted inside and out with nary a single error. There's a desire in certain quarters for them to change the joints up too.

It's only been over the past twelve months I've embraced these metal build figures through Flame Toys, Three Zero/3A and Banana Force. They all follow the same rough construction blueprint and yes, they're fucking amazing but there's absolutely a concern for the longevity of the joints due to the weight of them. Some like Tarn have shown this already. Others like Bumblebee are still as tight as the day I bought them.

Everything is finite though. Even ratchets fail.

A two part Epoxy "clay" superfine white is formulated to repair China and ceramics but it can set underwater and fix boats! You can smooth the surface with water whilst it's drying/curing and it's light and durable. A little bit for snagging mght be handy. Superfine white Milliput

I remember getting that black Technic bike for my birthday as a kid. Quite envious of your 91 catalogue, I've got one's from 93 all the way up to the early 2000's, although I don't know where they currently are :(
Also, a Technic power loader? Didn't know that was a thing until now :lol

Thanks guys! We stayed at the Arden one year, and though nice, I remember it being a bit of a pain walking to the Hilton - they closed the route past ten pm or something. I’ll have a look at the other options, but worst comes to worst can always just come up for the daytime.

All those pristine Lego books, So much nostalgia for happy hours spent as a kid pouring over those things wishing I had them :D

Finally got time to open and play around with SS Mixmaster. It’s very cool and definitely fun, nearly integrating all 3 modes together, looking on point and being fun to mess around with. While I love the ROTF figure, the bot mode was never one for fiddling around once posed.
It’s also clear that the SS design prioritised the combined mode & play value at the expense of achieving a ‘definitive’ rendition of the movie character.
I’m now torn on how I update my constructicon shelf. I’m fully in for the set, and will display the SS in alt / combined modes, but I’m going to keep the ROTF on display in bot mode as for me that bot has a better character presence on my shelf

Thanks fellas---went ahead and PO'd him from Kapow. KOs are hit and miss from what I see...that KO MP Dinobot surely failed hard, but the MP36 Megatron KOs usually were better.

Metal build type figures are great, if a tad flawed. Flame Toys, 3A seem to be taking cues from Bandai's thought process and incorporating Sentinel engineering to it. The Macross jets I have are fairly similar, as are FansToys Motormaster and Silverbolt.

Seems like the use of die-cast is on the rise, if anything ;)

I'll chat about Tarn in...July when he's in my hands heh.
