This online store seems to be very eager to be the FIRST to offer preorders for EVERYTHING, whether actually solicited by Hasbro or not.

Want to preorder the recently announced-via-TakaraTomy Studio Series Voyager Scrapper and Leader Overload? Nobody else is offering them yet! Order them here FIRST!

Want to preorder the only just leaked Voyager Sentinel Prime? Collection Toys has you covered!

Want to preorder the Skipjack redeco of Voyager Rampage which Hasbro accidentally (?) revealed recently? Here you go!

Want to preorder Deluxe Leadfoot, ROTF Soundwave and Voyager Blitzwing, who only exist as store listings thus far, some of which have since been taken down? Why wait, preorder them NOW!

And while we're at it, how likely is a Demolishor redeco of Leader Scavenger? Sure there have been no actual listings yet, but why take the risk? Just preorder and be done with it! And who knows, maybe there will even be a Payload redeco of Voyager Long Haul!

Same for Earthrise. Preorder everything that has been leaked, rumored, or speculated thus far!

    I particularly like Smokescreen.

That's exactly what I expected the toy to look like! And boy, this Megatron is just looking gorgeous! Oh wait, it's "NoT fiNNale". Booo! mY liFE iS PaIn.

Does anyone else think this doesn't seem like a particularly trustworthy business?

Personally a fan of Earthrise “Black Shield Guy” and “Bridge Link Dude”. Putting up preorders for stuff that got listings I can at least understand a little, but stuff that’s only been rumored like Demolishor and Payload? That’s ballsy.

I’ve placed a couple of orders with Collecticon Toys now and have been very pleased with the service. He’s got wave 5 of Botbots, which no one else has, and has both specific packs and individual figures available. Nothing random.

Yes, you’re paying a premium for product that no one else has, but you’re also getting a service that no one else provides. His communication has been timely and professional, shipping extremely fast, and I’m thrilled to have the product in hand. Highly recommended retailer.

At the very least, you gotta love the site's sense of humor.

It’s the time travelers, man. They knew when the preorder would go up, so they swooped in and bought them all for themselves. It’s their world and we’re just living in it.

I feel reminded of way, waaaaay back in 2004, the very reason I signed up for TFW2005 in the first place. Back during the days of Alternators, a marketing trade publication named Brandweek featured a blurb about the toyline and revealed that Hasbro was in negotiations about a Dodge Ram pickup and a Dodge Neon SRT-4. Subsequently, a long since gone online store named Collectable Kingdom jumped the gun and put up preorders for the two. Those listings were discovered months later and promptly frontpaged by several fansites.

It took almost two years until Hasbro finally officially announced the Dodge Ram (as Optimus Prime, no less), while the Dodge Neon never materialized at all.

Owner is good people and 100% trustworthy. At least your waste of an attack thread doesn't even have the store's name spelled correctly :thumb

This is normal in Hong Kong hobby stores. Still remember a PO for Mafex Thor and they used a photo of a hobby magazine article of him.

Star Scream is great at collecticon toys. Love his sense of humor. My smashdown wasn't mashed potatoes after all. Laughs. They are priced at a premium but rock solid to get you what you want. Ships fast and well packed! Great customer service got my Spy Patrol (laserbeak /ravage) and a lot more way before I ever had a chance to get them elsewhere at almost the same price. Im a fan of the independent business man and whole hardly support this Transformers one! 100% trustworthy !

Generally speaking, putting up pre-orders like this raises all sorts of red flags.

On the other hand, if people do have positive experiences, then great.

Personally, I would never pre-order anything that has not been announced in some sort of official media.

the only two negatives i can give about the site are some of his prices and he sometimes gets stock after other places, but the customer service and communication is top notch

It seems too good to be true. And people say it is true. This reminds me that before SS Soundwave was released, I found an Amazon listing for him, complete with reviewer claiming its legitimacy.

Well, gonna pull the trigger and pre-order Race Track Patrol and Astro Squad from there, since the only other place I found them is sold out. Hope it's legit.

    UPDATE:
Oh geez, maybe not....almost $10 for shipping! GAH!

Think I'll wait for a bit and see if I can get it cheaper elsewhere. Shame too, I really like their site and the descriptions!
