Nah, I saw one a couple weeks ago at Walmart in the clearance aisle for $7. My first reaction was "Ooo! A Voyager AND a combiner!" But I set it back down, because that's $7 to put towards the new Hot Rod Patrol, that I REALLY want. Hopefully a kid found it and it made their day.

 

I don't know If anyone else saw this, but i think it is a great price.

Their hts website’s offers and their hts eBay store had WAAAY better deals, and seemed to occur with more frequency than what was offered through this pulse replacement. Reminds me of their initial advertisements of:

Perhaps I’ll read through some of the recent posts on that tfw pulse thread to see if any of those previous keyboard defenders (or anyone for that matter) have any recent references to any of the “monthly premium-only promotions or contests.” As I truly am curious to know what some of the ‘epic’ deals over the last year were.

 

All it was, as a Pulse member myself, free shipping and purchasing exclusives a day early, that was it. Maybe there was more, but I can't recall anything significant.

Don't think there's any chance. It was a carryover from HTS (where they originally mispriced the Wave 1 Siege Deluxes).

 

That 20% off purchase was nice, coming at a time when they had some brand new stuff available (ST Scavenger & Mixmaster, some Earthrise and late Siege.)

 

It's not unreasonable, that's for sure. I picked up mine for $9.99 a few months ago.

Inferno was just a badly timed release and the sales suffered. Had it been released during Combiner Wars like Hot Spot or with some appropriate deluxe limbs when it was released, I think it would have been a big seller.

But we benefit from Hasbro's bad choices sometimes.

If they had made Inferno have his own team instead of just selling random CW compatible deluxes, he may have been more sought out as well...

 

What's a little interesting is that they almost made a half-assed G2 Defensor.

G2 Hot Spot was red = Inferno
G2 Streetwise was black = Ricochet (real stretch, but black car.)
G2 Groove was orange = Wreck-Gar is a bronzeish orangeish groove.
