Sorry if this has been asked before but does anyone have a detailed list of the differences between v1 and v2 power baser?

Also I’m assuming no more v1’s are available and all current stock is v2?

 

The V2 has red eyes, chrome thighs (both the core bot and combined mode), fully articulated fingers on the combined mode, and an adjustable bumper. You can get the thighs and hands (and maybe the head?), but the adjustable bumper is a mold difference. The V2 also seems to have stronger ratchets.

But yeah, I don't think you can get the V1 anywhere unless you got it from someone who has it already. But yeah, the V2 is a definite improvement so you wouldn't want the v1 anyways.

 

The only change on the V2 I don’t care for is the red eyes. Happily God Bomber comes with an extra Power Baser head with blue eyes.

 

Do the black and sg recolors have those same improvements as well?

 

Which ratchets are stronger? Hips one?

 

Yeah, they actually had them from the start. V2 was basically just getting the normal colored version in line with the black and purple versions.

Sorry, yeah the hip ones. The hip ratchets on the normal version definitely seem weaker than the ones on the black, at least on my copies.

 

My God-Bomber came with a replacement head with blue eyes.

For those of you who have the standard colors God Bomber, how did you fix the issue of the front shin flaps pegging into place? I’m not sure if I should shave the pegs down or widen the slots. Both legs have the same problem, panels don’t tab into place at all.

 

i slightly widened the end of the slot with a very sharp exacto blade. works fine now

 

Have anyone actually opened up their hip parts to see what kinds of improvements have been done on powerbaser v2, purple and black version, as compared to the powerbaser v1?

So I got the God Armor for my V1 Power Baser; he stands up fine, can hold a pose, no problems with the hip or knee ratchets.

The issue I am having is I cannot get the chest armor piece to attach to PB correctly if I have Hi-Q/Ginrai attached to the chest. It goes on fine if he's not on there. Is there a solution to this or just a design flaw? I see the cutout inside the chest piece where the powermaster figure is supposed to go but it seems like it's not deep enough.

 

Make sure you have the sides of the cab tucked in like they are for robot mode before you plug the cab in to the super mode body.

I had that problem when I first tried to combine him and realized I HAD BEEN TRANSFORMING THE CAB WRONG THE WHOLE TIME.

 

I have, that's key to combining PB in the first place. The cab is situated in the trailer just fine. The problem I'm having is I have to detach the powermaster figure from the front of the cab before I put the silver God Armor chest piece on. If the little guy is on the chest then the armor piece will not fit properly over the PB cab front.

 

put him in the godbomber chest piece then slide it over the super ginrai chest, goes right on
