I'm not sure this game game really do turbo anymore? There's were so many cards that replied on other cards. And now we have body characters. IF you pull a body and no head.
So turbo isn't possible you always have to draft now.

 

All body cards come with head cards   And cards that can't use heads come with stratagems (so, yeah, swap heads is definitely a dead card!)

But that's turbo for you!

Can we have head masters on our starting team in body more?

 

According to the article that was written up about the mechanics, the body modes of Headmasters must be flipped to just like other non-Headmasters from alt mode. Also, Headmasters' do not flip from head mode to bot mode until the body mode takes enough damage to be KO'd.

 

So I'm kinda new to this, but are these promo cards difficult/expensive to acquire after the fact? I don't really know of any local place to sign up for this event to get these cards.

Hah and even so I am out of town that weekend anyway.

 

That would be REALLY cool. Having two arms and two legs that are each one half of a boat. And can be swapped to other Combiners. Have the body able to transform so we can have the huge boat or the third boats.

Lock on Target is such a great card, just replace Supercharge in my Airstrike Patrol deck baby! Also love the design space this opens up. The way I read it though, it's still a blue pip in terms of other cards seeing it, does this mean that a double pipped version would still apply for Metroplex? Or does he not see the pips on flip.

 

It is not intended that the body cards and stratagem cards be packed together. It's certainly possible that there'll be mispacks that have bodies and stratagems together, the same as there's boosters with three rare cards, or no micromasters, or boxes with 6 SRs, etc.

 

They made a card called "Headbutt" and didn't use Ramjet on it? Shame...

Haha...can you image if they made ramjet a head master? His head partner would have serious issues.

 

Actually, mechanically I can't, especially with the Headmaster transformation scheme. You'd have a giant cone sticking out of their back. Would need to do something different, maybe the cone splits in 4 ways and their titanmaster robot mode is a spider?

 

So far for hybrid pips/icons, we have blue and planes, orange and tanks & black and Titan Masters. That leaves green and white to be revealed.

Strong maybe, but I think its Brawl - Which probably leads to Combaticons and Bruticus.
