Which I would assume is Sunstreaker... but can't think of anything it would be used for.

You can turn it backwards and insert anything you like into it.

I think I lost the QC contest on mine. My right leg is fused at the hip so there is no leg articulation at the hip. And one of my wheels won’t turn.

Anyone know how to fix the leg?

Got it to work. Dried paint inside the hip. I disassembled him and use pliers to twist and get it to work.

That hip joint is tight but turns now.

Ok, now I’ve put some work in...

This is a pretty awesome toy. It’s an incredible car and a pretty dang awesome robot. So glad I bought this one.

I also had the same problem with the hip. I fixed mine with two pairs of pliers.

He may be thicc, but he sure seems better in most every way to me way (except alt mode obviously, his alt mode looks amazing)

better proportions overall (aside from his short thighs), MUCH better color of white, longer wings, marginally better interpretation of wheeljacks head (new head looks... soft... in a line where most headsculpts have been amazing)

the overall square blockiness of the new one just doesn’t work for me and I hate how they did the hands. I think overall the mold will probably work better on Sunstreaker, where the shape of his chest will be more on point.

I like the older one too. I think you're right on the money that the head on the classic wheeljack is a bit better.

I like both heads about equally for different reasons, though I do miss the clear ears on the new one

That's fair. The new head is much closer to the cartoon. Which is fantastic for those that want that. I just like the more 'techy' way they've been drawing him the past 10 or so years.

Mine had the same issue. I just wiggled it until it came free. It took some force.

Except the Generations one is less G1 than the Earthrise one. That's the no.1 criteria for me that puts ER Wheeljack over.

I think that's what bugs me, is so many of the head sculpts in the last couple lines (Siege/PotPs) have been so "Super sharp" the softness from the 'toon look' really stands out.
It also looks like his eyes sit too high, or his mask is too low.

I like the dimensional/angled mask and clear ears on the prior version.

it's the off-white that just kills me though, it looks pre-yellowed.

Yeah but the white is gorgeous. And there’s more plastic on the old one vs the smaller (and more expensive) current one

they dropped the ball on colors for the Earthrise one good lord. Head sculpt on the Generations one looked better too

The off-white is the only nitpick I have with it. Idk why they ever choose that shade, a sharper white almost always looks better.

That means it’s a common problem and one for folks to watch out for. I was amazed to find once I had got mine to move that the stuck spot showed white, meaning the hips are painted black and indeed it was a paint problem. Crazy.

Still this has been an amazing purchase. Just aces. I’ve been really enjoying Jackie today.

One point of difficulty, I may sand down the plastic on the back of the hinging platform his head rests on. It can be tough to transform his head and the front peg slots into his windshield. So I really don’t need the back peg.
