Is there a voice box in there? Gotta admit, *that* would be cool. It wouldn’t be enough for me to be interested in her though (the entire alt mode hanging off her back despite something as cool as a voice box being in there isn’t enough for me to overlook it) — the feet and chest areas are also a no bueno for me.
Sorry, I gapped for a second and thought you were still taking about MP-44. I agree that MP-51 doesn't have an excuss for it's other figure as a backpack. It seems as if it's just a Marvel Legends figure that can combine with a car.
Haha. It’s all good my friend. Yes. MP44 does indeed look very nice. Even I didn’t recall/remember he had a voice box? Even cooler. Here’s “hoping” in the next few months we can get some alternate looks and some better photos.
Looking forward to this. Looks like they learned a lot from Generations Arcee. Hopefully KUP, BLURR and SPRINGER are in the works while they work toward Jazz and Mirage.
Tigartron was kind of expected but Arcee actually sounds amazing! And if Kobayashi is the one designing it then that's perfect and poetic going from making a scratch build Arcee to join Takara and now designing a definitive Arcee toy years later. Very much looking forward to seeing how it turns out.

Before I cry and complain. Do you all think this is a cropped piece of a figure pose stand or kibble hanging off the back car parts? I would think they would completely crop out if it was just for posing purposes.
His resume Arcee had better proportions even though the alt mode was basically the same as Toyworld Leia's.
People still going on about the granny boobs. It's obvious at this point that it's mistransformed. You can even see a groove in her collar piece that it probably pegs into. Like I said before, I'm sure what happened is the photographer saw the white on her chest and the white on the sides and thought they were meant to line up (chest probably came loose cuz it's a prototype and he had to put it back and just did it wrong). You're all going to feel silly for making such a big fuss when we see better pics and her chest is in the right spot. If they didn't have such a bad track record of mistransforming figures for product shots, I could see getting riled up but we've seen this so many times before.
I remember years ago when MP-01 came out and People started wanting a MP megatron to go with it. At the time people in the forum said it's never happen. Megatron is a gun, they would never be able to sell him, you see how much trouble it is to buy any reissues. To quote some poster "We will see a MP Galvatron long before we ever see a MP Megatron. Stop Dreaming" Well years later we've had 2 MP megatrons and still no official Galvatron. I still laugh when I think of this. Also all the other figures that have happened they told us would never happen back in the day.
One selling point for me would be if the head transformed into Headmaster Daniel , but I doubt it will. 100%
In her animation model, the white lines up around the torso and the chest plate overhangs like this toy does. I'm pretty sure this is just Kobayashi being Kobayashi, and making Arcee "sexier". Just as he added the toned midriff and slightly curvier bustline to Generations Arcee, here he's gone a step further and lowered the top edge of her breastplate to be more in line with "real" breasts, as opposed to how pushed up the bustline is on Arcee's animation model. I think what's exacerbating the issue though is the slight distortion on the photos. From the angle they're taken, it slightly tapers the images towards the feet, also emphasizing her neck by contrast.
I love Windcharger and enjoy his appearances in season 1, but I agree with this statement. Could probably say the same thing about Prowl, and a lot of the season wunners that got axed in 86. Those death scenes left a strong impression.
