Crazy. Legends Coneheads look better than the MP versions.  

 

As frustrating as the price and overall fragility are, the official MP Hound is really vastly superior looking to me when compared with my previous stand-ins.
I’ve been pretty lucky so far and the only crack that I’ve had has been in the head armature, and a brush with some Plastruct seems to have fixed that.

But... good lord... G1 Motormaster's design was SO UGLY. Yeccccchhhhh.

 

Oh man Mike.

This is the first I actually even bothered to look at DX9’s version. I have never even once entered their respective threads.

He is ..... really really ugly and holy-shit-amateurish-looking compared to FT and XTB’s efforts.

That trailer. Those legs. Those feet. Those arms. Those hands.

What... what the hell kind of trailer is that for him also? Holy wow though. Not trying to sound dramatic, but he’s the worst. As in, like, “the worst.”

 

Well, I don't know about "the worst," but I do think he's the worst of the Motormasters, at least in terms of aesthetics and materials. If you like to play with your figures, though, it's the easiest/most fun to transform.

And yeah, that trailer is huge, but it turns into Menasor. I'm curious to see how big Gravestone's trailer and Roadking's second trailer wind up being, and how their transformations work.

 

My opinions by view:

Front view:

2. Tie between DX9 and XTB for different reasons

Side view:

Alt Front view:

Alt Side view:

Almost a tie in a couple of instances. Where DX9 shines the most I think is in value, for a price between XTB and FT you get a Menasor skeleton which only lacks the car bots, and fine looking Menasor which scales nicely with TW and Zeta. We do not know how XTB or FT Menasor will turn out, only that these come at an additional cost. Overall FT wins me over, except for the value of DX9. In my opinion, everyone wins, considering the options before these new options to fill the Motormaster sized hole...TFM Studio OX being the only one that really comes to mind...which barely even resembles Motormaster in bot mode.

I didn’t mean for my message to come off as insulting your purchase or anything — and yeah — perhaps he has that “play factor” about him (and according to you he does : )) that makes you want to mess with him more than the other two.

Yeah. We still have to wait for the other two to get a more complete idea what is going to go on there.
