State tax refund means fulfilling a decades-long dream of owning a truly great figure of what very well may be my all-time favorite Mobile Suit.

I started panel lining it, but the texture of the plastic is more porous that I'd expected, so some sections aren't as sharp as I'd prefer. Guess I should finally look into a scribing tool.

They can make an awesome EZ-8 in 1/200 scale; Imagine how great the A.N.I.M.E. version could be!

    Hey people,

Just stated at page 1 and now I'm at page 185 going through this thread. So many great figures to choose from .

I need help deciding with two figures .

    Either the

Kampfer robot spirits anime version for quite a reasonable price ........

Or the Kshatriya a little bit more expensive but a beast of a figure . I have seen reviews for both and I am leaning more towards the kampfer .

Any tips or opinions from owners or people who have both ?

    Kind regards

Both are amazing figures, really. And I say that owning both. I have two Kaempfers, the Kshatriya, and the Kshatriya Repaired/Besserung. Kshatriya has that big, beefy shelf presence and is quite posable for its size and bulk, with a stand that lets you keep it airborne that's basically an MRD/Metal Build stand. You only get 12 total effects cards for the funnels, which is important to keep in mind. Kaempfer has a huge arsenal, lots of accessories, and if you already have a bunch of other ANIME subline figures it has thrust effect parts ports for every single nozzle on the damn thing.

I only own Kampfer. But that seems like the case looking at them. That’s why I prefer the more subdued suits. Complex stuff looks great on screen but something like the Kyshatriya is totally impractical as a toy.

Haven't had this much fun with Robot Damashii for a while, after backtracking all the components to put together this monstrosity! Liked Barzam Kai for a long while, but somehow never got around getting the Ka Signature release back then. But found out it shares a lot of parts with Ka Gundam MK II, which then open up a lot of possibilities. Not to mention Bandai purposely added option parts and matching Titan colors in the MS Girl release to be compatible with Barzam Kai and Armored MK II. Its like playing Legos, Acid Rain, or Diaclone, but with authentic Gundam Ka designs. Very fun. And its up to you how much armor and weaponry you want to put on in exchange of poseability.

Here I am presenting you, the SUPER ARMORED BARZAM CUSTOM!

LMFAO AWESOME! it puts the full armor unicorn to shame

i must confess i too bought the MS girl just for the G-defensor parts in Titans colors

that era of MS that blended Zeon and Feddie designs produced some cool stuff like the Barzam kai

That MS Girl set is no joke. The option joints and the Titan G-Defenser it came with adds a lot of play value to the Barzam Kai and MKIIs, either keeping the basic 'Super' backpack configuration, or totally dismantle the backpack into something else up to your heart's content. Saw some creative combos in some Japanese blogs.

Heads up for anyone that has the GM command space type

I just tried to attach the beam effect to the saber and the peg snapped off. It’s tighter than any other figure I have

As good as it looks it is 100% the worst Gm release. Most expensive, no bonus accessories, and now breakage

...and the RX is still getting reissued by Bandai. Sometimes I don’t understand Bandai...they make amazing toys but RX is still available...and at affordable prics...

Agreed! I have both! Or had the Kampfer until it got er, misplaced...please don’t ask me the sad details...

The Kyshatrita is too bulky for me to pose and fiddle but its a beautiful piece.

Hey, remember when the Robot Spirit line was originally announced over 10 years ago and they showed a prototype of the GP-01FB and now here we are in the thick of the 0083 releases and we still haven't seen a GP-01FB announced?

I wouldn't worry, the full burner is inevitable.

They did the motherfuckin' Xamel, afterall, and thats a totally unique mold with very limited screen time. the FB is a hero mech, it'll get done.

Bandai has mixed in some easy repaint/remolds like the GM and Dom Tropen in between unique stuff like the Gundams and Xamel

Isn’t Dom Tropen a totally new mold?
