The styrofoam is thin in one half. Mine also broke off, but the figure itself was okay.

Parcels are rarely broken during shipment...

I’ve had 3 broken boxes since November, luckily the figures have yet to get busted

Is it "not released" or is it just caught because of the shipping shut down? That would change whether it affect other releases or not since the latter would have nothing to do with the factory.

Which area of Vancouver do you live in? Maybe I can put in a good word with some supervisors and mail carriers I know to help remind them of stuff to watch out for.

Well that I don't know. It could be either of them.

I'm sorry about that. I just tried to make a Seinfeld reference. But I guess the people who are both Seinfeld and Fanstoys Marauder are very few in numbers :D

Ah, that would be Station G (depot located in Kerrisdale) that sends mail West of Granville St all the way to UBC and near Lululemon's Chip Wilson's home in Point Grey. Station G handles mainly footwalk lettermail but the Depot located in Marpole area handles big parcel deliveries. I'll try to get the word out by chatting up some of our local posties.

I've been pondering the Marauder arm situation. I'm wondering whether Fans Toys might have come up with a way that the Smokey / Drag Strip doesn't split entirely in two...

From the picture of Marauder you can see that whilst there is a main joint on the underneath there is also a joint just below where his knee would be in robot mode:
    FT-31-03-focussed1.jpg

So there is some kind of wrap around shell to make it all look good but the bit to left of the red line is still Smokey:

So perhaps this is why his left knee has an extra hinge:
    FT-31D-01-focussed.jpg

This is so that it can disconnect the thigh from the lower leg because that is the back of the elbow joint as demonstrated by the diagram below:

Not sure if Bandit / Dead End is the same because his backend flips round for robot mode so not as easy to have the extra leg etc...

That would be a small joint. But it might work together with the add on elbow. Nice sketch though. The engineering and over all look of the ox version of marauder is impressive

My reissue RK is finally at the post office. Do I wait for them to deliver him or go all Liam Neeson and trash the place demanding my daughter back?

I was fortunate enough to get Spoiler from GR1MLOCK ealier this week and the figure is fantastic. Thanks again to GR1MLOCK for a great transaction.
I have just started to get into Fans Toys offerings and am impressed by Spoiler. He is not only an awesome representation of the character, but just feels so solid in hand, reminding me of Japanese robot figures I had in the 80's; it is a fantastic evolution of the concept.
As well, I was able to get a Roadking new from tfsource. Again, such a hefty, solid, impressive figure. Definitely looking forward to the next figure in the set.

I cant speak for spoiler as i dont have this figure, but this is so very true for roadking.
I originally wasnt into buying the FT combiner teams, but when roadking was 1st issued last year i saw how much people thought of him along with a few video reviews and pre ordered the re issue as soon as i was able (his 1st issue had sold out of the stores I use in the uk very fast).

Ive had him just over 2 weeks now and I am still so very impressed with how solid and well designed/built this figure is.. I dont think i have been as impressed since TE01. I still cant believe, given how the truck/trailer is made up, and how it comes from almost nowhere, how well and cleanly it all holds together.

Previously, I have been highly critical of FT Jabber and hoodlum, whereas FTs Sovereign, quietus, and dracula still maintain their places as some of the very best figures in my collection.
I am very pleased that FT seem to have regained their stride so to speak.
Roadking has so impressed me that i may pick up the rest of his team if i see spoiler up for reissue early enough (before i get too far behind), or maybe even a silverbolt (maverick?) on reissue.
