Wouldn't it be easier to subscribe to Premium once the SDCC is announced? It's not like there is a cutoff date for enrollment.

 

True. After all, if you fail to get the SDCC stuff you want, you can get a refund on the membership if you don't buy anything while it's active.

The one thing that would have made me willing to renew Pulse Premium would have been my membership ensuring I could order the SDCC exclusives. The fact I don't have Ghostbusters Optimus is the reason I won't renew.

No kidding. I felt the same way when the SW Boba Fett sold out in a matter of seconds. Even with the one per person limit. I will not be renewing either until they fix that crap.

 

He was actually two per person which is why he sold out so quick (in about 2 minutes if I recall but he also went up in two batches both days). Still, I think they should just make more of the exclusives regardless. There's really no reason to limit it other than cost and to piss your customers off. I managed to get Boba Fett (plus all the others I wanted) but boy was getting any of those exclusives a nightmare. I honestly would prefer a super early preorder where they make yours to order along with the ones to be sold at SDCC and some extra for those who missed the pre-orders. That'd be cool. I mean, it won't happen but god would it be cool.

 

Anything that is limited should be 1 per person. That's the easiest and fairest way.

 

Seems to me that ANY system that guarantees the availability of a purchase (whether to Pulse Premium members or whoever) runs a risk of having more figures available than can sell without putting them on discount. That's probably not sustainable.

 

I actually got screwed both days where it was in my cart, cartjacked, hit the sold out screen, and then within 30 seconds was made available again for purchase. By the time I had to re-initiate the purchase process, it was sold out again.

I complained hardcore on that one (and I'm not one to just complain about whatever). They wound up giving me some crazy discount, and I was able to get Omega for super cheap.

Right? Too often Amazon's cancelled on me. So I'm actually happy to keep using Pulse and will get as many orders as I can in this time.

I don't know that I'm really getting enough out of just free shipping to warrant wanting to renew.. except maybe around SDCC lol.. but I have so much ordered on Pulse right now it kinda might be. Either way, gonna take advantage of it now.
