Why wouldn't they have just molded his shoulders in red plastic? That's only going to chip more and more

It's a re-release, exactly like astrotrain which is being released on earthrise packaging too.

well i caved and ordered optimus from toy dojo, the rest can wait for my amazon preorders but im really looking forward to getting prime in

im kind of curious if parts of primes legs could be swapped with the siege version to get rid of the grey trailer hitch and inner legs

Put Siege's lower leg's on Earthrise Prime and you have a fairly nice complexity of transformation. Hoping something like that can be modded.

the only problem i forsee is the inner leg flaps on siege prime that had the gas tank details, they would probably have to be removed

I'm hoping it fits, maybe just shave off the wheel well portion and then keep the gas tanks on earthrise prime folded in. op op compare.jpg

I thought I saw a while back that you had the kbb mp10v trailer; any thoughts on just buying that for Siege OP over getting the Earthrise version? The Hasbro trailer is just so damn lack luster.

i dont have that one, ive got the old bts command center trailer that ive modded to go with siege prime (it will be given to nemesis when he comes in) but the mp10v trailer might be an interseting alternative. granted mp10v is considerably bigger than er prime so it may not be a good size

Got it. I wish I paid attention in the early days of CHUG, missed out on so many upgrade kits.

The worst is when you’re there at the beginning and you go crazy and think you’re too old to be collecting and sell you’re entire collection only for a year to go by and realize how stupid that was and spend 4 years hunting them all down again on the after market.

    mistakes were made...

I'm probably only getting ER Wheeljack since I'm going for Wreckers and WJ is one (at least in Aligned continuity) but am I the only one who thinks Siege's Prime has a more involved transformation? I know it's not as clean in the back as ER's Prime, but am I just being weird?

I agree, and Earthrise Prime has way less kibble in robot mode of course...which is the only thing tempting me on it. The matrix is an added bonus.

that torso transformation is just insane. first time I saw it my reaction and a literal “Woah!”

yes. It’s also hallow in the back but that’s not a bad thing! The core is hallow in the back but can accommodate a blast effect!

My main criteria’s for if I like a transformer toy are “does it look like the character”, “is it possible”, “is it quick and easy to transform”. On those basis Eva the earth rise one is pretty great. Hard to compare it to the g1 toy for awesomeness though.

To anyone who has ER Prime. Does the front vehicle part of Cog fit in the trailer? Thinking of using it as a makeshift Roller. Might even paint it blue if it works. Thanks in advance.
