Oh I'd love an SS concept series

wait Rampage and Scavenger are upscale? I guess i should know most of the transformation then

 

I definitely want Hasbro to finish up giving us every character from mainline films before we got a series like this, but I'd love for this to be the follow up. It'd be a cool way to get some alternate variants of characters like Hightower and and the spider-scorpion version of Overload. I think hasbro would want to keep movie designs coming, and this would be a good way to do so.
Plus, they could dive into G1 repaints in this line, something I know a lot of people unsurprisingly want.

 

Not one I had on my list but for $0 with the points I have on amazon the price was right   also had to get a second ss49 bee since I lost the cannon for my first one

Not really, the transformations are extremely different (i.e. the shovel blades don't split apart for SS Rampage, and the treads aren't visible in SS Scavenger, as they're put into the wheels instead). Just said that because their original molds were different in size (Rampage being a Voyager instead of a Deluxe, and Scavenger being a Leader instead of a Legend (and by technicality a Voyager if you're counting the inaccurate Demolishor)), sorry about any confusion ^-^;

 

Still new to this whole editing game, but i think i did pretty good. Tried to add a shadow but that looked weird.

 

I really hope we do get a good look at Devs tonight. Should be shortly after 5 PM PST if I'm understanding it correctly. But that's also assuming there are no leaks beforehand/the display is shown off right away.

 

I thought it was revealed on the 9th in Japan. Is it being shown on the 8th?

 

It is entirely possible I have the date wrong. I know it’s this weekend and I thought it was tonight our time.

In the first series of photos where Devastator is complete (even if badly transformed...) well observing the front image (thanks to the fact that it has been positioned in an exaggerated standing position...), I noticed that Overload in forming the central body of Devastator, must be positioned "head down" (in fact, reversing the photo 180°, Overload becomes quite evident). To be precise: the torso together with two sections of the robot backpack, form the Devastator pelvis, while the structure of the shoulder straps (together with the arms) form the front structure of the combiner's thighs, which are hooked respectively with Long Haul and Rampage! Instead the legs, together with a central segment of the robot's back (where the head and the front section of the Overload chest are positioned, which thanks to a joint, folds through 180°), forms the section of the bust that connects with the Scavenger! With the few details in evidence of the combined prototype, however, I noticed some details such as, for example, thighs and torso, which are aesthetically in line with the official concept art... it will be another fantastic model of the team!

Full Devastator reveal, eh? It'd certainly be such an awesome news to hear after a week in the village without Internet and getting a fever the whole week from the heat!

I have that guy too. He was one of my favourites and he still holds on incredibly well to this day.
