Got my copy of issue 80 where i order it at WHSmith.

Looks like it is still not possible to order back issues on Hachetts website.

Does anybody know how many extra issies there will be? I seem to recall it being 20 more.

yeah, completely stunned by Hachette's lack of communication ( not!)

i believe TFWiki has the next 3 issues listed (the falling pt1, gen 2 pt1 & Revolution), but beyond that, who knows?

managed to get mine fine from Smiths, for the record

There was no leaflet in issue 80 regarding an extension but then I don't recall anything about it being only 80 issues ? The next five are

    81 The Falling: Part 1
    82 Generation 2: Part 1 (Possibly Volume 90)
    83 Revolution (Possibly Volume 81)
    84 Realignments (Volume 89)
    85 Revolutionaries (Volume 82)

Their utter inability to make official announcements is pretty much par for the course. Hopefully there'll be something in time for issue #81 when it actually counts.
Heck, they couldn't even get it right when I asked them about the release date of the issue due out Christmas Day.
It said eighty issues right from the very start. It was in all the promo stuff in issue one.
However, I too am surprised there wasn't any leaflet in with issue eighty to inform customers that it's now been extended to a hundred issues. Not everybody follows these things online (although with this particular shitshow it's highly advisable that you DO make sure to keep up with events on their Facebook page, especially when there are error issues that need replacing).

I got issue 82 from WHSmith this week. They seem to be getting it to them ok.

Issue 82, as in G2: Part One? I thought that wasn't due out until February?

As ever this makes me side-eye Hachette as it seems they treat retailers better than their subscribers!

My apologies... It is issue 81 i got.
I had 82 in my brain as i set myself a reminder to pick it up when it comes out.
I can understand subscriber frustrations though.

I don't see how they're gonna fit the rest of Optimus Prime, Lost Light, Vs Visionaries and Unicron into just 4 volumes. I'm hoping we'll get Vol 85 The Falling Part 2 with OP 18 - 21 and Vs Visionaries, Vol 86 the next LL book, 87 maybe Vs Rom?

88 could be any leftover Marvel books like the missing UK strip and the movie adaptation leading into the G2 strips then finishing off IDW with 3 more volumes, 1 last LL book and then Unicron split into 2 books, 6 issues each containing 0 - 6, OP 22 - 25 and LL 25.

This would of course be the sensible thing for them to do, knowing Hachette they may just skip over Visionaries and ROM and not bother putting Unicron in reading order

88 is Unicron Simon Furman confirmed it. He is the one making the decisions not Hachette.

Ah, nevermind then. I guess Falling Pt 2 will just have the final 8 issues of OP and 86-87 the final 13 issues of LL and they'll be skipping the crossover stuff

That's the concern tbh. Without vs Visionaries (and to a lesser degree ROM), the ending makes little sense.

Yeah, tbh I'm considering maybe grabbing those trades now just in case and selling them later on if they do get included somewhere. I mean, by the time they wrap up G2 they'll be like 9 books left to fill so maybe they'll be included there?

2 new books are up on Forbidden Planet. Issue 86/Vol 92 is The Movie adaptation and Issue 87/Vol 83, as confirmed before, is First Strike

Can anyone confirm what the contents of v89 Realignments is (or is likely to be)?

I only collect Marvel related issues (1-20 so far) and will be getting the G2 / Movie stuff also, so am wondering if I should get my order in.

No official confirmation yet but the only Transformers-related media with the name Realignments is GI Joe #139, the second of the 5 part Joe lead in to G2. If I had to guess I'd say it would collect 139 - 142 with a summary of 138 (only a bit of it really connects with the rest), plus the original 4 issue Joe/TF crossover to pad it out
