Yeah its kinda ironic that Im a 6ix9ine fan but I hate MLP isnt it ? Dude even had a MLP chain that he got robbed for lol. But in all honesty say what you want about his persona or snitching, but you cant deny he has great beats and an energetic flow that we havent seen since Sticky Fingaz from Onyx. I look foward to hearing what he got coming out when he is released. But MLP is still garbage in my opinion. Im not a fan of toys that were created in the 80s for girls being coveted by boys. Its just weird.

 

One could say the same to people who still like ponies in 2020.

Yes, How Dare someone honestly enjoy a cartoon...Absolute Travesty!!!

 

This has got to be one of the weirdest WTF kind of crossovers I've seen this year, but then again, I didn't think TMNT / Batman would work either (as much as I loved the concept). Honestly, as long as whoever's writing this can get the personalities of the characters right, I'm all for weird at this point.

 

Haters are gonna Really hate.

Personally, this looks like a lot of fun. Hope they make it really whacky.

 

The thing is, these franchises have been subtly intertwined for years. Both have had Easter Eggs referencing the other numerous times and when it comes to Hasbro, with Transformers arguably being their biggest brand aimed at predominantly boys and MLP being their biggest brand being aimed predominantly at girls, of course there was going to be a crossover at some point.

Look at Transformers: From the live-action movies to the Animated series & the RID(15) cartoon,, to even the TF/GI Joe crossover and Shattered Glass comics there have been MLP references. Likewise there have been plenty of TF references in MLP - even to using the G1 transforming sound in the MLP movie that came out a few years ago.

This comic looks like it will be really fun and I look forward to it. I have zero problem with those that don't think they will like it and/or don't intend to read it. But for many of us this is something great! My son loves Transformers, my daughter loves MLP and I love both. So these will be comics that our whole family can read together - and a concept like that is hard to beat  

Dude - Transformers were essentially created in the 80's just like MLP. My daughter often plays with my TF's (admittedly mainly my Generations female characters like Greenlight and Elita-1) and my son sometimes plays with my Cheese Sandwich playset (a MLP character voiced by Wierd Al - it comes with a rubber chicken cannon which is just boss!). Nothing wrong with kids playing with or coveting toys that were originally designed for the opposite gender - it's just fun! That's what toys are made for and many of us adults do it to  

I know plenty of grown-up women that collect TF's that were intended for boys and I don't think they are weird, I think they have incredibly good taste  

You do know that the latest series of MLP went for 9 years and the last episode was only several months ago right? Not a big jump to think that people still like the series less than a year after its finale. There are many of us that still love the G1 Transformer cartoons and they finished over 30 years ago!

 

I'm just surprised it took this long to happen, honestly.

 

Some things don't work together well like pineapple on pizza, but if instead of a pizza it is a cake then it might be good if you like pineapple. So what I'm saying is this would have worked really well with Rescue Bots or BotBots.

It be interesting series not fan of pony’s but I do like art of this series it’s art that make me want buy comics not story I want good story I go to library if conics where good on story they be nominated and winning awards at golden globes and emmys in 1990 if that where true

 

Exactly what I intend to do, like most if what IDW has put out. Only thing on my Radar is 84

 

Sorry IDW. I didn\'t like MLP as a kid, And I never was interested in the more recent cartoon. So this comic is not for me.
Maybe my GF or sisters. If they still have an interest in MLP.
