    Lolz! The FIRST KO...
So, ima be on the road for the next couple of hours, so how about this little guy: I don't even remember who made it, but its a REALLY early third party powerglide. 20200201_174023.jpg His arms and legs were originally bone white.
And since I can't remember who made it; if y'all want a different challenge, lemme know!

    Mine's fallen into Decepticon hands...

    fallen into Decepticon hands.jpg

    Quite literally. ;)

Actually, no. The original design was a licensed third-party Powerglide from Jizai Toys:

It was one of those typically Japanese one-day licenses Takara offers for event-exclusives, this one for Winter Wonderfest 2008.

X-Transbots, like so many other Chinese third-parties, started out as a KO manufacturer. Their first two releases (before the X-Transbots branding, even) were both Jizai knock-offs:

Later, using the X-Transbots branding, they re-released their KO as "Glider."

    lider release.jpg

They weren't the only ones, either... Eagle's TF also produced a Jizai knock-off.

Jizai's design was the definitive Masterpiece Powerglide for nearly a decade, until DX9 produced "Richthofen..."

    Richthofen.jpg

...which was soon KO'd itself by AOD. o_O

Anyway, I'm not here to talk about Powerglide, but his captor.

    incursus.jpg

Again, Mastermind Creations' Ocular Max line has knocked another Combaticon out of the park.

    MP Onslaught.jpg

This is Perfection Series PS-14, "Incursus."

Someone finally designed Onslaught's backpack so that he could have shoulder cannons!

Retractable, articulated shoulder cannons at that. :D

Today's challenge is an object lesson in the relativistic nature of size.

    big.jpg

Super Collection Figure Metroflex [sic], like most of Hasbro's Marvel Legends BAF figures, was too big to package and sell along with the other figures in Takara's SCF line.
Instead, the Titan had to be assembled from parts packaged with a variety of other blind-boxed figures, making it quite a challenge to collect all the parts necessary to put the big guy together...

    relativity.jpg

..."big" being a relative term unrelated to issues of scale, of course. ;)
